Had we discarded Kev, Bernie and Stones at the start of the year I’m sure you’d have been the first to call the club a circus. There clearly was no indication that the decline of so many players would happen so quickly but unfortunately it happened and here we are. I’ve thought long and hard about this and I’m confident he’s still the man to rebuild this team. Each season he’s changed or tweaked something to allow us to be different. First it was wide flying wingers, then inverted full backs, the next season we played with a false 9, then it was Haaland upfront and us playing off him. I trust him to solve this next puzzle. He’s got more than enough credit in the bank for me at the moment despite this season being a nightmare.
