Ilkay has been a traffic cone out there for most of the season, and has lost a big step on his passing acumen that made him the class player he was in his late 20's

I can't blame the club and Pep for taking him back this summer after a great showing in the Euro's and losing Alvarez so late in the window...however we can all question if Pep can see clearly when it comes to him after he has one of the highest minutes played of anyone this season and he been below average at best.

He's not suddenly going to chance his tactics next season. We need new coaching staff, set piece coaches,,medics and new players. Even with Rodri back I don't see next season being much better. Hope wrong but seeing no signs.

Newer players and a fresh approach. He wasn't going to change much mid season. There have been glimpses of improvement but not quite good enough for the bigger games.
