Pep is marathon manager (League) , not 100meter race ( CL )

Away from Messi, he always struggles in the Champions league.

He managed them after winning 6 trophies including the Champions league but he failed to do well with Bayern.

With City, it's a heartbreak after heartbreak each season with him.

Look at Liverpool, they replaced Klopp with someone nobody's know

They spent less than City, and he is miles ahead of Pep right now in all competitions.
Heartbreak after heartbreak each season?
Go and have a lie down in a dark room mate.
So you’re judging Pep on our CL record ? Did you watch us fucking destroy Madrid last season ? And go out on penalties ?
I’d rather be a marathon winner (4 times on the bounce) than that toothy prick who fucked off because Pep ground him to dust .
You forgetting Ferguson’s record in the CL ? Battered by Munich in Barcelona , with two late goals ? Or John Terry slipping as he took his penalty in the Moscow final ? That lucky whisky slurping **** had the most amazing luck in two finals.
We were unlucky last year.
4 in a row pisses all over the European FA cup.

Absolutely bang on , some of these cunts on here are like those despicable cunts who flog a donkey to death carrying payloads up mountains all day and every day , and when they fall to their knees and can’t sustain it anymore , they just throw them off the side of the mountain.
Let’s get another shiny new toy , because I can’t handle being second best for a season or two.
When Pep leaves we will be back in the wilderness if we are not careful, because a section of our fans are like spoilt little children and will air there views to whoever takes his place, that’s it’s not good enough for their high standards , it’s like a fucking Willywonka sketch on here.
Exactly this. the fans are a sharp contrast to the great team. the team spent 200M on 4 player just in winter and fans like to get 7 more in summer. how about just buy the whole Real Madrid team and their manager? or maybe even easier just buy Real Madrid or Liverpool shirt and you feel proud again.

What's worse about the VAR not issuing a penalty is at that stage in the game it wouldn't of effected the result. So why not get it right ?

we spent big in January because we made huge mistake not doing it in the summer before. and yes maybe not 7 but 4-5 serious players need to arrive in the summer too to continue the huge rebuild front of us. and it wont be the fans deciding this but Soriano and Khaldoon.
there will be 4-5 players leaving this squad in the summer at least the obvious ones the very least and the jury is out on some more like Grealish, Bernardo, Ederson etc, surely we cannot let the squad be that much thinner for next season. neither we cannot allow lesser players replacing them. so if 4-5 is leaving indeed like Gundo, KDB, Walker at the minimum, we need new ones in. otherwise we are back to square one and same thin squad.

If you think the last few seasons have been heartbreak then you need to to step back a second a take a look at the bigger w

As poor is that defending was how good was that lob from Mbappé. Needs An attitude adjustment but what a player!

It was mission impossible without Haaland and losing Stones on top of Akanji leaving Dias and Ake to cope with Mbappe's pace.

We need to be able to compete physically. That means no KDB and it means no Gundogan. We also need fit defenders.

Very damaging to lose Stones.

Dias has the demeanor and body language of an elite footballer without the footballing ability. Hes good but he aint top level. Too many mistakes and dangerously slow.

Also Gvardiol isn't a defender. He played youth football as a striker and you can tell. We need to buy proper defenders who can defend.

Nico Gonzalez is unfit. Needs time to get up to speed that lad.

Mbappe had a very easy game tonight because City couldn't get close to Real Madrid and he was up against pedestrian defenders. But he is a world class player

There were many shit performances tonight, Gundo was shit but he wasn't the worst, Savinho WTF was he doing ? Gonzales scored. but was utterely anonymous for 92 minutes, Foden's sole contribution was a shot from 40 yards out, that is probably orbiting the moon right now, Dias started the mess with whatever he was trying to do, Marmoush supposedly started the game, but nobody noticed, i've probably missed some that were worse.
Add bernardo to that list of shit performances. Mammoush looks like we could have a decent free kick taker in the making.

We absolutely battered Madrid in the last three seasons at home… (obv not last week). The games before and after the treble season we should have been out of sight but we failed to be ruthless and kill them when we had the opportunity. I don’t think you get that know how consistently without being serial winners

Completely outplayed this season across both legs - hardly surprising given our issues this season.

Not having Gonalez other than an pl squad player- hope im wrong
So do I - I do remember watching a YouTube video (the day we bought him) where he looked pretty good, but it was noticeable that nobody was tackling in the clips - I don't know where the games were but it was miles away from what he'll be seeing week in and week out in the PL.
When he went off against Orient, I wondered whether he just didn't fancy it, but it must have been a genuine injury, missing the first leg.
He does seem a bit lightweight, which is a worry.
