City/Juventus/AC Milan out at least we lost to a decent opposition. Imagine getting knocked out by PSV or Feyenoord
 
I was consigned to this being a season of pain long ago, painful to watch but have to grin and bear it.

Players have given 100% for over 4 years and have run out of gas and can no longer do it physically and mentally.

Its a mix of certain players no longer capable, not getting our first choice transfer targets and plugging the gaps with short term fixes.

The team is for at the stage as when Pep first arrived.

We have a very important summer transfer window coming up. If we fail to secure the players we actually want, and have to instead make do with plugging gaps once more then next season could be similar to this one.
 
Cons - lost renenue, lost chance at a trophy, media waankfest and piss taking.

Pros - saved me probably 600- 700 quid, more rest time for the push for second palce and the FA Cup, No more TNT sports bar maybe 2 sat morn slots.

Lots of reasons on here as to why we lost, it’s simple 3 gifted goals in 8 mins of consecutive play. That’s the reason right there.
 
We made it as the biggest club in England!

Apparently top four and fa cup is not a good season the media are saying!

Won everything, players played 50/60 some 70 games a season last 5/6 years players getting old, we not allowed a drop as club then?

So yeah we are the biggest club in England because all these other so called big club some lower part the league are ok having a transitional over 12 years! Other clubs won no league in 20 years it's give the manager time!

We are Massive!

To many goals conceaded this campaign focus on getting top 4 now hopefully the FA cup along the way

Time we all put past success behind us now. Pep and the players need a reboot and the squad needs to rediscover its hunger and drive.

It will be very hard saying goodbye to a few really special players but now is the time. The summer exodus needs to be allowed to happen without sentiment.

Ederson/oretga
Kdb
Stones/ake
Kova
Walker
Doku
Grealish
Nunes
Gundo

Most of the above must go. I have not added Bernie as I think with proper young, hungry players around him again he will go up a level. He is running his bollox off now for a team that don’t have it in them.

This season could end up being a blessing in disguise.

I watched the match, but couldn't tell them what it was, either? Very strange.

We're not the first top team to hang onto fading stars too long, but I can never remember this stark drop-off in such a short time before.

Injuries have been crippling, of course, but everybody is making mistakes. The same players who everybody on here has been calling for were like rabbits caught in headlights tonight.

God, I hope Pep gets himself and the players back on track before the end of the season...

Barring the back four, it was hard to tell who was playing where and what their role was.

Also Gvardiol isn't a defender. He played youth football as a striker and you can tell. We need to buy proper defenders who can defend.

What a load of bollocks..Dias is a great player but I agree on not fast though
Gvardiol is a central defender not a full back where he gets put

We seem to play well one game then rubbish the next.
At this rate we'll beat the Scousers, then lose to the Spuds.
