I think TMT has adequately demonstrated a precedent whereby "using ones reasoning faculties" might perhaps suggest waiting for it to happen could result in the ship capsizing

I went and listened to the actual statement. I think it was a misstatement.

I presume it would be corrected of s reporter asks him what he meant by that. Not that it would matter. As those who want will consider it fodder for their opposition.

At least this unlike many before would be a legitimate claim rather than a fantasy.

Sorry, are you seriously trying to suggest that the current Commander in Chief would be influenced in any way by backhanders from someone who was widely reputed to be the richest man in the world?

fucks sake its either a joke or a mistake every time. What about him calling Zelensky a dictator? is that a joke? or did he miss-speak again?

Oh, I agree that the shock and awe is changing things so rapidly that we don’t have years! And, don’t forget we are NOT even discussing the nukes going off in DOMESTIC policy!!!

Trumps acolytes, who helped him get elected so they could remake the domestic policies of a Christian nationalist country, are working 24/7 to rewrite the laws, shape policies, and replace personnel…and become of the absolute shitshow in the Foreign Policy arena, no-one’s even talking about it!

I mean, a Tax Plan that will balloon the National Debt by $5-13 TRILLION hasn’t barely been discussed.

Meanwhile, after Vance stunned the Munich Security Conference, he’s doubling down on Ukraine’s lost cause at home to the CPAC crowd in Maryland.

The likelihood of a new Hitlerian figure is much more likely in Europe than it is here. So i suggest you pay closer attention to your backyard.

The kind of unchecked problems that creates a Hitlerian figure are already ripe in Europe.

The very same type of laws that preceded the emergence of Hitler (i.e. laws severely restrictions speech and allowing dissent to fester in hidden corners ) are all over Europe.

It is no surprise that actual Far Right groups sre rising everywhere in Western Europe.

But you know what, im more concerned with America and Nigeria. I'll let Europeans concern themselves with Europe. Or not!

I am not 100% certain, but I have the sick feeling he wants to drive the USA into a recession to force down interest rates, decimate retail stock market investors, then leverage the plunge by floating ultra-long term Treasury Bonds (50-100 yrs) while retiring higher interest bonds.

Of course, his billionaire buddies will all get advanced warning of any and all of this and they’ll all make gazillions.
