I agree with this.

Foden has to have a good game though, he was absolutely awful on Wednesday and couldn’t be arsed. If Kev starts over him I’d be fine with that, but if Foden starts and is ineffective I’d hope he switches it at half time rather than in 80 minutes.
No way does Foden deserve to start or Silva for that matter it’s one thing having a poor game but no excuse for their attitudes ….. fukin stinks

Really hope we can get a result on Sunday but if we don't the consolation for me is that I'd prefer Liverpool to win the title rather than Arsenal (just)
Better Slot than Arteta, definitely. But which set of supporters would you least like to see gloating - that's a tougher one.

There's no chance he would do a half time sub tbh. Foden has been mostly cold all season, a lot like his team mates. The space that Marmoush and Haaland run into is crying out for KDB imo.

Madrid weren't on fire/ cooking at that point. It's clicked with them recently, a game against them now, especially at the Bernabeu would I think be a different outcome.
To be honest, it's only really 'clicked' for them against us. Their recent results had been really unimpressive. That's what made the total fear we showed so much worse...
I hope that Sunday's game plan takes Liverpool's recent form into account more than Wednesday did RM's. Passive's ok, if you've a tight defence.
BIG 'if', that one.

Haaland not fit to play 1 minute on Wednesday night, can’t imagine he will be fit enough to start 4 days later

Probably right - although fingers-crossed maybe he was ok for a run-out, but the tie was blown long before Pep fancied slinging him on. He then thought better of letting Rudiger kick lumps out of him, chasing a lost cause?

Not sure. Surely if it was serious he'd be off somewhere getting it looked at. He'd have had three more days rest before we play Liverpool.

Something I actually agree with you on lol. He's a classy player and chips in with a fair few goals but he has his Walker moments with misplaced passes, often under no.pressure. His defending isn't great either. It is hard to judge our defence this season though as we can never play a settled defence two games in a row due to injuries.
I agree, he had his best game by far against Real Madrid in the first leg and he did well v Newcastle but his wayward pass under no real pressure almost cost us a goal but for Stones timely tackle on Isak. Almost every game he lets himself down with a misplaced pass that puts us under pressure.

We don’t know, he was on the bench so it may have been if we were in the tie at 70 minutes or so, he may have come on. As it was, we were well out of it so no point risking him.

Styles make fights as they say. Liverpool have the players to hurt Madrid and visa versa. And both have players to damage us severely, again as they've both proven this season. Will be fascinating if they run into each other later in the champs lge. Madrid aren't exactly flying now in general anyway prior to stuffing us they've lost their lead at the top of the league and drew with osasuna last time out.

He didn't say he would train tomorrow he just said there's training to come and they'll decide then. He was always going to say that regardless of haalands condition so nothing to take from that

Not as much as your unnecessary lingo.

That's my only gripe with Josko, very good player but has lapses in concentration, for me he's a CB not LB.
