Away fans / tourists in home sections

The pressure from the fans is growing. It can't keep on being ignored by the club.

'Impostors in our own stadium' - why Man City fans feel increasingly outnumbered at the Etihad

Manchester City fans are becoming increasingly frustrated by opposition fans appearing in home sections at the Etihad.

This is across the pl working class fans the backbone of any club just aren't wanted. We don't bring much money in, the price of the ticket and a beer. I posted earlier how easily it is to get tickets for tomorrow's games, if you are prepared to pay a ridiculous amount.
Reading else where that WHU have lost 29k season tickets holder since moving from Upton Park.
Rags had rangers fans everywhere. I know fans of spuds, rags, WHU that have stopped going. These people had been season ticket holders. All give roughly the same reasons, cost to much and to many half n halfs everywhere

There seems to be a concerted effort by pl clubs to force out real fans. Is this to do with ffp ?

I feel pl football is forgetting it's roots.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet. But there were 3 Madrid fans in the away end at their place on Wednesday. Celebrated when they scored. A women (blue) gave each one of them an earful as they were escorted out by the Madrid police.

Names on tickets, passports to collect… one of our own selling Madrid fans tickets in the away end?

we know the MUEN have reported this to ridicule the club, but it is an important issue.

I would start with banning all 3rd party ticket sales

That article is open for comments…

It's not exclusive to City or PL , many European clubs also have same issue

From the MUEN article.

Illegal ticket sites are one issue but it should be noted that the club have eight authorised selling partners listed on their website.

The club do not have to disclose any of this information and declined to offer specifics when asked by the Manchester Evening News.

We was to the right of them they was sat in front row
It could of got nasty as the stewards wasn't fucking them out eventually they did plenty of fans fuming at them I thought they was going to get filled in

Id had a couple of pints but I'm sure they didn't check my and my young lads I'd just tickets I could be wrong tho like I said I was 8-10 pints deep

Wonder how many scousers will be bouncing about in home sections tomorrow. It will get nasty.
Was it last season there was an Asian Liverpool fan towards the back of 315 who was used like a punch bag until the stewards managed to save him. He was punched an kicked down pretty much every step and was covered in blood at the bottom.

I fear the worst tomorrow particularly for any tourists found up in SS3. Some of them are absolutely clueless. One woman was nearly lynched at the Derby for celebrating the rag goal. She didn’t have a clue what she was doing wrong (Chinese girl). The same could easily happen tomorrow and if it does then Christ knows what will happen. It was Liverpool at home last season when that lad got battered in SS3 wasn’t it?

I think the stewards will be told in the pre-match briefing to instantly remove any Liverpool fans, or tourist Liverpool fans in the home ends. But that may not happen fast enough before City fans get to them first.

The club have brought this mess on themselves.
