As per thread title.

I've got them on:-

Paul Lake

Mike Summerbee

Robbie Fowler

Neil Young

Mike Doyle

Peter Schmeichel

Alan Ball

Kevin Keegan

Colin Bell

Rodney Marsh

Joe Mercer/Malcolm Allison

Bert Trautmann (Signed)

Pep Guardiola

David Wagstaffe (Really about his time at Wolves)

Denis Law

Some very interesting tales of what went on behind the scenes, that you don't normally get to hear about.

Paul Lake's is excellent, one of the best sport autobiographies that I've read. David White's is good too, although a bit more harrowing as he talks in depth about the abuse he suffered from Barry Bennell.

Off the top of my head, I've also read: Tony Coton, Niall Quinn, Rodney Marsh, Colin Bell, Shaun Goater, Sergio Aguero, Mike Doyle, Richard Edghill. Probably a few more that I've forgotten.

Ones with a City connection that aren't mentioned above: Andy Morrison, Tony Book, Dennis Tueart and Joe Corrigan. All of those are worthwhile for a Blue, IMO, and Morrison's in particular is almost painfully honest about his demons.

There's also Franny Lee's recent ghosted autobiography, which has been published posthumously and is discussed on another thread. My sister bought me that one for Christmas, and I've just started it. Am up to the point he joins City. It's a decent enough read so far, but I'll comment more fully when I've finished it. Obviously, most of the stuff I'm really interested in is still to come.

There are also two Trautmann books and I'm not sure which is meant above. The older one by Alan Rowlands deals mainly with his career, while Catrine Clay's more recent one has a lot of detail about his youth in Germany. Both interesting.

I'm currently on 13. Here's the books tagged as MCFC in my library:

Paul Lake's is the obvious standout but the 2 Bert Trautmann books are not too far behind that with Nedum's & Whitey's following on from that. Bobby Manc's & the Schindler book are as yet unread. Next 2 to add to this list that I'd like to read would be Alex Williams & Francis Lee.

Half way through Alex Williams book currently. Another not mentioned yet is Paul Moulden.
Who is this Schindler bloke you mention? When did he play? ;)

Need to get some of the more recent ones. I've got and read.....
Joe Corrigan
Colin Bell
Dennis Tueart
Bert Trautmann
Mike Summerbee
Paul Lake
Bobby Johnstone
Shaun Goater
Ken Barnes
Neil Young
Malcolm Allison
Mike Doyle
Andy Morrison

Trautmann, both books.
Bobby Johnstone.
Mercer.
Allison
Paul Lake

When is Sergio doing one?
(Wonder how many o's there'll be in the title?)

Just ordered Franny's.

Can't understand why that one went under my radar.

I'm sure it will be a good read.

Pity Peter Swales didn't do one. :-)

He’s wrote a few with references about city. Colin Schindler wrote “ George best ruined my life” George best and 21 others”, and “ fathers, sons and football”.
Oh, I forgot George Best and 21 others.

I picked this up from a charity shop last week, don't be mislead by the title, most of the book is City content from the 1960's. Playing for City in 1965 was light years away from today's times.

That's one of the best football books of all time

Sad, and poignant, yet full of anecdotal evocative humour.
