Talksport funny just now. Glendenning says this is the worst United team in 40 years. Co presenter says longer than that and if they were to drop into a real relegation fight they would struggle and go down.

Please let that happen (I know they’re too far ahead, but just the thought is extremely funny)
That would not be allowed to happen.
That Var incident shows it will never be allowed.
Had they lost right at the death, morale would be shot. Then, with everybody down they play Ipswich. We will never know if a dispirited rags would have lost that.

Ipswich is now a totally different match.
That isn't thanks to a Scruffy bloke, Amorim or the players.

That I find more astonishing than people saying the PL is not corrupt.
PB said a senior source not a member. Whenever Football365 or the former Everton director use that saying everyone on hear goes ape shit.

I'm not sure what the difference between a source and a member is !
We go apeshit when a former Everton director says it because we believe he is lying.
Me? I don't believe Prestwich_Blue is lying.
Do you ?

We can all cite incidents of what we think are poor or "bent" refereeing decisions every weekend. It's because of the pundits and journalists continually concluding the ref got it wrong that we ended up with the disaster that is VAR.
I often read other teams forums after we've played them. They think that the referees favour City. To be honest if your assertion that the refs are corrupt then they're probably right. There's absolutely no way City could have won 6 out of 7 if the adjudicators are bent without them doing favours for City.
The Prem did City no favours at all ,it simply came down to the fact we were that good at playing football it didnt matter what the prem tried to do to us, and did they try! We always had away of ovecoming the obstacles. Thats why our achievment of winning 6 in 7 was so remarkable we beat the teams in front of us and the establishment .

You said member not me. Of course I'm not saying PB is lying. He's not said who his source is. Maybe they are a little more relaxed about the strict definition of the truth

But as all the pundits say, if there's contact then every player has the right to go down. They love that line for the professional divers out there.
I remember Raheem slipping in the penalty area and a penalty was given, even though he hadn't appealed for one.
After that Raheem got a rep as a diver and subsequently, even legitimate claims were waved away!

Can you explain why the rags didn't have a penalty against them for something like 10 years at home ?.
I could list the bullshit and obvious corruption but I don't think tou would take any notice.

Do you remember when the had of the fa said the premier league needs a successful Manchester u#it#d
No its not bent is it

And this gem mate.

Executive chairman Richard Scudamore says the Premier League has a "strategic plan" to enable more clubs to win the title.

Same reason Liverpool don't get many penalties against them at Anfield. The referees shit themselves.
I think it's a bit unfair to say I wouldn't take any notice. You list credible reasons why the referees are actually bent and I'll read it. You never know I might be persuaded. Please don't bring up stuff from 20 years ago.

So it's ok if it was corrupt 20 years ago.?.
And if like you say about pens against the dippers if the refs shit themselves and don't give it.
Is that the whole point.
Those two teams especially are officiated totally differently to every other team

I think it's about this obvious rag @Gingers Dad is banned from the forum.

He's had a good run but it's getting a bit tedious now.

We've seen these actions before a couple that spring to mind were the disallowed goal v the dips from Akanji and the spursy handball goal that they were awarded right on the goal line.

You're of course correct it's cheating in plain sight by VAR manipulating the referee.

I'd expect Webb when they do the round up of contentious decisions to say they got it wrong........ apparently that's ok then, fuck the fans and integrity, after all they'll pull out some shite figure of getting xx% correct.
No different imo to syndicated match fixing for financial gain. Except you’ll get banged up if it’s not the corporate sort.
