This was our normal lineup for the better part of the 4 in a row.

One DM, two 8s and 2 wingers and a striker or false 9.

Not entirely. We had an 8 back then that could defend in the midfield 2 next to the DM in our 442 pressing shape. This line up has nobody that can do that. Off the ball could be a shit show today. No balance at all. You’re only looking at the IN possession side of the game and thinking it’s the same. Neither Foden nor KDB can defend next to Gonzalez.

Liverpool haven't been exactly pulling up trees lately. Even though they beat Bournemouth and Wolves they looked shaky in both games and they couldn't beat Villa and Everton.

Seems our best form of defence is attack and Pep knows this this. Will be a very open game with loads of goals. Absolutely imperative we score first.
