I have to say as a long time City supporter since 1969 that some of the comments on here are criticising the team are unbelievable. We all know that the team are nowhere near their best and Pep has accepted that mistakes were made by him in not recruiting new players last summer. In addition injuries and fatigue have taken n their toll. However the club has already taken positive steps to try and remedy the position but this will take time and we have to accept that.

We are playing one actually mobile midfielder in Gonzalez who is also not very fast. The pair of Silva and Gundogan can’t even do a job of one player nowadays and would be taking up two spots in the starting XI.
