The San Diego rumours are back in full swing, I am amazed we would let him go there are not NYCFC, or are his injuries that bad and the club feel he would be too much of a liability in New York?
He's out of contract at the end of the season. He can choose to go where he wishes

I get that but would the club not want him to be the figure head at NYCFC and I would imagine they could and would pay far more than San Diego.
As a yank, everything that I’ve read about KdB over the last decade makes me believe he and his family would REALLY hate living in New York City.
San Diego is beautiful and it’s incredibly laid back nature seems way more his families style, and is likely one of the main reasons they seem to be favorites to land him.

I was looking on google maps earlier, my USA geography certainly in terms of San Diego was not good, but after looking I could understand why he would be interested, it's looks a very beautiful location.

I love New York but it's not a place for a young family for sure.

Yep. I’m sure this is just a pit stop for him, and then his wife & him + family will likely move back to either England or Belgium for good…but I cannot emphasize enough how much better San Diego is over New York City if you have more money than god and just want to not be bothered at all…which is what KdB gives off at this stage of his life.

It isn’t our choice to let him go or not go anywhere. Entirely down to what he wants.

It's worse than playing with 10 men because when he gets the ball I still expect to see something happen. I would rather not have that glimmer of hope before an inevitable let down. He has completely lost it, the yard of pace that's gone has destroyed his game. Such a shame to watch him struggle so badly but Pep needs to see what the rest of us can.

The shot just before the half time whistle summed him up now. I'm pretty sure it landed in my back garden.

Real sad watching him this season. He is just physically done and we need to part ways at the end of the season. Greatest player to play for the club IMO.

His days are numbered in the bigger matches. Fingers crossed we will give him a very good send off by winning the FA Cup. Still it is not going to be a very easy task in finding his replacement.
