Away fans / tourists in home sections

The club should ban half and half scarfs from the ground...its enabling for twats to openly support the opposition team in plain sight. One things for sure, there will be no dippers in 115 today
This needs to happen. Buy one if you want to but you shouldn't be allowed to wear it in the ground.

Proper kicked off in 219.

Three victim cunts celebrated when the murderers scored. Stewards did fuck all apart from protect them for about 15 mins until one of them was finally kicked out.

The powers that be at this club are a bunch of fucking clowns when it comes to some things.

Shitloads of half and half scarf twats everywhere today well.

I've never let the tourist thing get to me too much as I know football, as a fan, has been slipping away for years and years, BUT it's still gauling as fuck to see so many odd tourist types in the home end when I'm sat on my arse at home/the pub cos there's no chance at all i can get a ticket. It hurts a bit.

Makes me laugh when I see the “stop exploiting loyalty banner”

The club couldn’t give a shit! You have paid to be at the game and will continue to do so. They are laughing at you. Wake up.
Yep, let’s sit around and do nothing instead.

TBH mate I think it’s you that they’re laughing at. They can do absolutely anything they want while fans like you let them.

How exactly are the club selling home end tickets to away fans or tourists?

I understand away fans/tourists getting tickets through resale sites obviously, but aren't all City home tickets restricted to season ticket or matchday members? My understanding is that the club do put tickets on general sale if season ticket/matchday members don't buy up the entire allocation, but surely that wouldn't be the case for a weekend league match against Liverpool?

(I'm from the States as my username suggests so I'm less familiar with ticketing procedures than most of you)

No need to worry anybody, Prestwich Blue is convinced that a discussion he had in City Matters a decade ago assured him City were on top of this.

Back on planet earth the people running our club are a fucking embarrassment. Absolute disgrace yet again.

No doubt our new ticket Czar will be checking cctv to ban any blue taking of exception to a dipper celebrating next to them. Banning blues will give them another ticket to flog for £300 to an away fan.

Absolute fucking pisstake. Might as well fuck off city matters cause the club are telling a pack of lies in this tick box exercise.

There are only 36 ish thousand season ticket holders I believe

Imagine being a "ticket compliance officer" or whatever that role is called.

How is that role fulfilling and how does it offer any form of job satisfaction? You are a professional grass whilst pissing off a fan base. Hope the person enjoys this dull job.

They were everywhere today. Loads of Mo Salah fans all running over to take pictures and videos of Salah and Lpool and shouting ‘MO MO MO’ while Lpool were warming up pre-game, outing themselves for Lpool’s goals during the game (a few got asked to leave, a few got confronted by Blues), and all heading over to film the Lpool fans singing at the end of the game taking pictures of themselves holding the Lpool part of their half’n’half scarves on show for the pic in front of the away end in the City home stands.

A few Blues kicked off with a few of them at the end because one was sat filming the Lpool fans singing before the final whistle with a big beeming smile on his daft face. I saw the same bloke on his way out and had a word with him again and he was giving it ‘your fans, no shout, not song, they sing, I film for that’ told the Scouse **** to get fucked ‘I’m no Scouse’… fuck off, piss taking cunts.

For "safety reasons" you needed a five game purchase history to get a matchday ticket today.....and they sold out instantly, both on initial launch and on second drop. Impossible to buy a few together.
But you can buy hospitality of any flavour, and hundreds of agency tickets with no membership, no purchase history, no loyalty points.
No new season tickets, exorbitant matchday ticket pricing, and idiotic sales policy. You can fill that ground today with genuine enthusiastic blues, sitting with their friends and family, at a fair price, but you choose not to.
The club is 100% responsible. I'm going for years and this shit annoys me far more than bad results.
Facebook, Twitter and BlueMoon were full of spares, even below face value. The official site had more than 25 available last night and this morning, exchange seats I know, but still.
7,000 more to fill next season, this shit gets much worse before it gets better.
I brought my lads to Madrid at home, but it was so staid around us they're only interested in going again if we get seats in the South Stand, where it's a least 75/80% City fans who care.
Loads and loads of below FV spares floating around today, for a supposedly huge game.
I'd have brought my 2 lads, but I could only buy a single seat at a time when the flights were reasonable.
You need to be encouraging and facilitating genuine fans to get seats together in vocal home areas, not making it hard or too expensive.
I never thought I'd lose interest in my #1 drug in life, but City have stolen the joy with how they allocate tickets.

I was told it kicked off in the Legends Lounge.

A steward in 115 got hurt.

Etc.
