For "safety reasons" you needed a five game purchase history to get a matchday ticket today.....and they sold out instantly, both on initial launch and on second drop. Impossible to buy a few together.
But you can buy hospitality of any flavour, and hundreds of agency tickets with no membership, no purchase history, no loyalty points.
No new season tickets, exorbitant matchday ticket pricing, and idiotic sales policy. You can fill that ground today with genuine enthusiastic blues, sitting with their friends and family, at a fair price, but you choose not to.
The club is 100% responsible. I'm going for years and this shit annoys me far more than bad results.
Facebook, Twitter and BlueMoon were full of spares, even below face value. The official site had more than 25 available last night and this morning, exchange seats I know, but still.
7,000 more to fill next season, this shit gets much worse before it gets better.
I brought my lads to Madrid at home, but it was so staid around us they're only interested in going again if we get seats in the South Stand, where it's a least 75/80% City fans who care.
Loads and loads of below FV spares floating around today, for a supposedly huge game.
I'd have brought my 2 lads, but I could only buy a single seat at a time when the flights were reasonable.
You need to be encouraging and facilitating genuine fans to get seats together in vocal home areas, not making it hard or too expensive.
I never thought I'd lose interest in my #1 drug in life, but City have stolen the joy with how they allocate tickets.
