One of, if not our best ever player but unfortunately he’s at the end of the road now. His appearances should be limited until the end of the season because he’s been truly unrecognisable for months.

If you have to question one thing about him its why he continued to play for Belgium after the last World Cup.

Would it have prolonged his city career? Who knows - but one thing is for certain is that it’s time for him to go at the end of the season.

Almost every game this season he’s been embarrassing to watch unfortunately, been one of our greatest players and it’s heartbreaking to see him turn into a shadow of his former self.

It's the unforced errors that are baffling, straight-forward simple passes going astray, sometimes too hard or soft paced. From someone who has been one of the very best at "putting it on a plate" to a situation where it's not unusual that he finds the opposition instead of a team-mate. A lack of fitness would not cause that, surely. The man himself will be the most frustrated of all..

His head has gone, he knows he is finished and it is clearly hurting him.

I am just amazed Pep stuck with him for as long as he did, as soon as Kovacic/ McAtee came on we looked better.

Such a sad end to a great career, for me he should have gone last summer, gone out on a high.

Unfortunately so yeah, that first leg against Madrid he was also abysmal. I can't believe how we've let it get to the point of so many ex key players being over the hill. I wouldn't be surprised to see 5 or 6 on top of walker leave in the summer.

Plain to see……us fans could half see it coming…why not the hierarchy?

Unless these 115 had an effect on their planning plus Peps contract?

bit weird how he cant kick the ball properly; he's mis-hit passes, shots and crosses in nearly every game this season. That's quite odd, something fundamental must have changed and/or gone wrong in his physiology that's putting him out of whack.

Maybe I was wrong about extending King Kevin for another year. Unless he’s carrying an injury, his legs have decently gone.

He’s had 24 separate injuries/illnesses and missed about 138 games in his time with us, the cumulative effects of which are now all too evident. Guardiola will continue to use him, of course, along with the other senior players leaving this summer, but simply as a matter of professional courtesy.

In some respects, it’s arguably preferable that the season now ends meekly and that there’s no last huzza that could lead to contracts being inexplicably extended.

Would rather he is limited to impact sub until the end of the season. It's sad to see.

Aside from fitness/legs gone issue, even the basics such as a 5 yard pass appear difficult which I never thought I'd say.

He doesn't want to up sticks with his family. He is settled and that's why won't be moving to America or Saudi.

I think he retires before moving to Saudi or the MLS.
