Away fans / tourists in home sections

Players and staff need their away allocation removing for starters. They should have allocation for home games but away be left to actual fans. Would love to know how many each get, even a couple each soon adds up. Then for someone at City to monitor these sites and the handful of aways that pop up they find out the ticket details, then ban the owner. Is that too easy?
Not just City.
Only three blocks of level 2 were listed for sale by Argyle. That’s probably 800 plus tickets gone to staff and friends.

Why does everything have to be behind closed doors or through whispers on social media. The club need to sack their communications department as they are atrocious.

I think the club might finally be starting to notice the amount of stick there getting..

No idea who the season ticket rep is?

Probably still the one that wouldn't sign the City Matters letter last year against the price rises as they were still happy with the price of theirs. Hahaha.

This is what you're up against.

This is from last October, are you telling me the club are still thinking about it now, no chance. It's just service that's being paid. Who will be invited to the EGM, every single SC holder and why haven't we had an email from the club about it?

Disagree with this. Its just a perk of working for the club.
Loads of business' offer work bonuses and perks for working for them.
As I said yesterday. Anyone who transfers a ticket to anyone with a supporter number and account, they can then email the ticket to whoever they want to be downloaded be it a home, away fan or just someone who wants to go to the game. This is how it happens on the ticketing websites online. You just get emailed the ticket
Recipient's of a companies 'perk' are unlikely to have thousands of the companies customers clammering for the same 'perk'

Imo, there are many other ways that City could reward employees without denying even more loyal fans from a very limited supply of away tickets !!

Away tickets, season or otherwise, should be exclusive to accredited City fans.

Because every contact the club have with the fans is solely through City Matters.

There are very few if any updates from the meetings posted on the OS. When there are any updates posted on the OS, they are usually every 3 months.

What little information that does come out from the meetings, is done outside of the NDA agreement between the club and the City Matters Reps.

Is that true haha if that’s the case we are doomed if she is the rep

I think it was that Angela Worrall you know. I can't remember 100 percent what the reasoning was? Think she may have been on holiday or something at the time of the statement and that's why she didn't sign, but bizarrely then expressed that they were personally happy with the cost of their own season ticket or something.

A statement regarding season tickets that the season ticket rep doesn't even sign. Surprised she's still in the postition after that. Another example of why people have such little faith in City Matters. We did have a Chelsea fan at one stage though, so it's moving in the right direction. Baby steps.

Just for clarification, are you saying that if he was a Liverpool fan who got his phone out then that level of violence from blues would've been justified?

Now I'm not saying that you are saying that but that last line appears to imply it. Personally I think that level of violence is way OTT regardless of who it was who happened to get their phone out but I'm not sure anyone knew he was a City fan from America at the time. Not that that makes it any more excusable of course.
No mate but it would have been more understandable had it been a dipper

Let's cut straight to the chase.

The directors and the club know exactly what the fans want.

The fans want to buy regular season tickets again.

Some fans want to be able to buy matchday ticket and sat together and not be online for hours !

There are of course no excuses for filling someone in because he got his phone out, bang out of order and I feel really bad for the bloke who will have spent loads of money coming to the game and will probably never do so again.

However, for rationale as to why it happened, tensions have been rising amongst a significant part of our fanbase regarding 'tourists/day trippers/whatever term you want to use' and having opposition fans in our end, particularly in the high-profile games against our rivals and the club have done nothing to resolve those tensions.

I expect some stick for this as it's pure whataboutery and I'm probably not articulating myself particularly well, however despite the club doing nothing wrong in this particular instance, in my opinion had they not taken the piss for the last two years like they have, the lad wouldn't have got the pasting that he did.

Tin hat firmly on.
No need for a tin hat

Absolutely bang on the money that comment

Extraordinary general meeting doesn't sound good.
Waiting for them to announce all season tickets are being converted to flexi gold

I shouldn't have laughed at this, but I did. Nothing would surprise me. I guess it's that 'extraordinary' they all sign NDA's and we don't hear about what is being discussed again.

They're probably negotiating what kind of price rise the fans will stomach without too much of a backlash.

Seeing as the new North Stand is gonna be filled with tourists, casual fans etc. and the club has messed up making it a singing end by not engaging at all with 1894, why not just section it off completely for tourists?? charge a fortune

Turn the rest of the ground (minus the existing L2 corporate areas) into half half scarf free, seasoncard only and whatever is left over can be subsidised match day tickets for locals and the new generations

Had 3 Liverpool fans sat next time SSL3, when they scored the women got up and started filming the away end, I told her partner to advise her this is not wise. The issue is also the Liverpool fans are not normal match going fans but people who follow them, but don't understand the culture of being in the wrong end, that's why you see them queuing up in their colours oblivious to what is happening. City will be responsible for someone getting seriously hurt
Them and United have always done it from our Maine Road days, It's been much less of a problem since we moved to the Etihad but as we expand and prices increase it's getting worse again. They have the largest UK supports + an army global tourists ready to pay over the odds for any spares mister

A great idea, but 8000 tourists won't fill the new NSL2 on a cold and wet January night against Brentford.

We're doing absolutely nothing of the sort. There is no rise that's acceptable to me as too many fans have already been priced out.

So seeing as you've clearly got an issue with what you perceive to be a lack of communication, what specifically do you want to know?
