I too found myself getting a little frustrated with him. There was a fair bit of dithering with the ball, probably partly down to the terrible miss in the first half which may have put him off shooting.

As i remember, this is khusanovs 3rd srtarting 90 minutes and his 3rd straight BM motm.

Now, i know we can make idols out of fuck all as City fans but the fact remains he's hit the ground running and is clearly a superb signing given that the other one has barely put on the shirt.

I bet Pep loves him.

He's looking much happier and comfortable now, and has responded really well after that 'rude awakening' on his debut ..... so , at his young age, he deserves every credit for that.

He may have had a lot of encouragement from the other players, Pep has already confirmed that they really like him, it's the player himself who has to take the 'bull by the horns', and see that mistakes don't happen again, and Khusanovs general play since that game with Chelsea has been really good.

Nunes second best for me, especially as he got little help from Savinho.

With a better pass to one or two of our players, who had charged forward on a first half breakaway, he could have played one of them in for a second City goal, instead of 'sweeping' it beyond them, and that let him down a bit .... but other than that he did okay, and gave an energetic performance.

I see that Alyson Rudd gave Khusanov a 6, less tha nine other City players. The voters on here voted overwhelmingly for him as MotM.

I know whose judgment I rate more highly.

I thought Eddie had a great game. Excellent 1st half from the lads. Kushonov was really good all match. I like Doku and savinho's positive approach, but sometimes decision making let's them down at times. All in all ,a great result.
