Macron doing the support Ukraine in public - don't support them behind tge scenes again.
He's trying to block the €30bn EU military support scheme in committee along with some other southern European states.
I smell a back stabbing in progress.
 
Vance trying to humiliate zelensky on live TV asking for a rim job. For what purpose other than hoping he wouldn't so they could portray him as the unreasonable one?

It's the equivalent of some wanker on the street offering a homeless man a tenner but first he's got to drink a bottle of piss on camera.

Shameful watching that. Let's hope the rest of Europe back them harder in response.
 
Trump negotiates everything from a power base. He sees Ukraine as in trouble without America's help. Vance is a **** and clearly ruffled Zelensky who then ruffled Trump when he said America will feel the influence of Russia. I feel Zelensky has to resign now as that could not have gone any worse.

Absolutely they are, and they are aware of it.

Europe is critical, but I don't have much faith in them either.

America has endured a coup.
Left as it is, there will be no four year term and the possibility of a change. Democracy and freedom as they knew it has gone and these guys are here to stay, so anybody dealing with them, whether that's Ukraine, UK, Europe should understand that the 'rules' of respect, integrity, trust and diplomacy that once stood, are now long gone and a new mindset needs to be adopted.

America wants to be on it's own, so, governments need to restructure the future with that in mind.

In his 'all powerful' mind, Trump in his wisdom has decided to put 25% tariffs on many of our products, so I hope we have the balls to hit back equally hard and stand up to him. It'll hurt, but I feel we have to do it, it's the only way to deal with a bully.
My concern is we can be a little like Europe with our provinces and territories and each looking after their own interests and not the country as a whole.

Change in America can only come from with-in and that might just become a bloody affair.

Zelensky is now stronger. He smoked them. The rest of Europe now needs to step up. In a way that may be Trump's objectives.
 
Well after watching that farce I really don't know where we stand.

If Europe decides to stand then it seems things are about to get pretty bloody real.
