Does it not make it easier not having to get grass stains out the kit ???

And mud out your knees ???

Back to the game today, play the Youngest’s and let’s have a good win??? :0)

Bloody hell they are trained professional athletes, they don’t need a rest. They have a whole week after this game, will they go home and put their feet up. No they bloody well won’t they will be flat out training.

Best team possible, get the game won.

Reckon a bit of pick n mix team……few regular first teamers on the bench in case of emergency …….

Ref will be definitely be letting the greens leave a few on us to even things up…….

People get injured when they play too much.

Haven't you been paying attention this season?
People get injured when they play?

A lot of ours got crocked whilst training.

Only chance of a trophy and people want to rest players - no way, show some respect for the opposition and put out our strongest team.

Remember my first match for the cubs, in the rain, circa 1969 - brown leather/suede ball the shape of a Revel, weight of a medicine ball.

I headed a ball for the first time - I was knocked back two yards, flat on my back and the ball didn't move from the point where it hit me. It was a close game - 12-5 or something.

"Aye, but you tell youngsters that today, and they won't believe you..."
That sounds like football from another century???

I am not sure that they would
believe you !!!

Or me??? LOL :0)

No, Bobb got injured training and the rest got injured after being overworked and returning from injury too soon.

In my younger days was a left winger with limited stature but couldn’t take our corners because I could never kick the ball far enough…….don’t get me started on wet casey hitting you on your thigh

Home Park packed to the rafters for 1st leg of semi final 1974 LC
You can hear Helen's Bell loud and clear just before Tommy Booth scores from the corner.
Bell Marsh Buzzer and Law attracting a capacity crowd at Plymouth..
Same season we got turned over by second division Forest in the fa cup....and same season we sent utd down few months later,.

Also sounds so much better with just a commentator, on his own

Ortega
Khusanov - Reis - Ake
Nunes - Kovacic - Nico - O‘reilly
KDB - McAtee
Marmoush

City have only got two league games in March so I don't see much point in resting players for a fixture congestion that doesn't actually exist.

Far better to start fairly strong and then rotate from half time onwards.
Start strong…couple of goals….young subs on…..simples, not the other way round….
