If Haaland is fully recovered, he needs to start and put Mubama on the bench. Or vice versa.

Extraordinary young players at City, possibly with a level of quality we have never seen before but I think this game is too soon for Echeverri. He is here for the long term. You could put him on the bench though just so he has a feel of match-day.

I have gone from being quite gloomy about City to being extraordinarily excited about the potential of our young players. Probably the effects of waking up on match-day knowing I am going to the game today.

I cannot see what could possibly go wrong this evening!!!! When did we last lose to a team in green! Although I'm booked in the Green Car Park - could be a bad omen. And, of course, I couldn't see how anything could have gone wrong v Feyenoord. Strong starting eleven. Saw Villa line up and it was stuffed with first picks. First picks work.

Apart from his first season I reckon Pep has been very respectful of the domestic cup competitions. Occasionally like the dipper semi final things like CL away games have been an issue. I imagine Pep will rest those who need it (Haaland, Gvardiol included - on bench if needed) and give minutes to those who need it.

As soon as I saw the ticket price I expected half a starting eleven of reserves. This is just how the Dippers failed.

The way Pep was talking yesterday it didn’t particularly sound like it, may just be Pep’s way of talking down expectations? However as far as I am aware he hasn’t even trained with the team yet
I’d expect him to make the bench, with the outside chance of a brief debut cameo if game is won.

I’d expect something like…

Ortega

Rico
Reis
Ake
O’Reilly

Gundo
Kova
Kev

Phil
Bernie
McAtee

Reckon a bit of pick n mix team……few regular first teamers on the bench in case of emergency …….

Ref will be definitely be letting the greens leave a few on us to even things up…….
Which incompetent name maker have we been inflicted with today ?

Why don't we ever get one of the birds.....they're never vengeful or bitter !!

ADVICE to stupid plym fans attempting to sit in home seats.....DON'T.......or you risk the backlash from City fans who may take matters in to their own hand with unpleasant consequences.

Don't risk it !!
There won't be any, we have had thousands of away fans in the home end even against top sides, Madrid , Bayern ,Liverpool and only a hand full off incidents of the back of it, truth is our fans are soft arses who accept it more than any other or else it wouldn't keep happening.

Open your mouth to away fans in our end and expect to be ejected and a ban……

Living in Cornwall, last time I saw us play Plymouth, we lost to them in a friendly about 25-30 years ago at home park (2-1 I think).
