FA Cup Games | 5th Round | 28th Feb-3rd Mar '25

I think his first instinct was to award a penalty to Liverpool and then send off an Arsenal player so he probably got confused when he saw the shirt colours on the pitch.
He's a shit ref who fucks up almost ever time he steps on a pitch and attempts to officiate, it isn't an anti-arsey conspiracy. ;)

Deeney gives his thoughts on the red card incident...

Alex "and actually" Scott "yeah so Troy, what are your thoughts on it"

She's by far the worst presenter in the sport.

Just seen the Millwall keeper's challenge on 'x' (out of the house, see?). Christ, that was worth 2 red cards.
What do you mean? He was clearly trying to get the ball. What is even an outfield player doing, being so far out of the box?

I like his "over" using of the screen, always had an issue with a couple of blokes in a shed having a little discussion and deciding if there's enough evidence for a threshold to have been broken and that he ought to take another look.

As soon as it's a discussion I want the ref to be in on it too whilst looking through the footage.

Like in rugby but with less theatre.

Fuck off Parish. Trying to start a witch hunt. It's a horrible incident but he's not tried to do him.
but they are professionals, who should be professional and human beings as well, who are professionals don't forget...

fuck me, what an interview. lol

To be fair, he may not have meant to do him but the situation didn't need a two footed massive punt of a pedal kick at head height. It's a fucking awful challenge. He didn't mean to kick him in the head but his action was only ever going to end with a collision and he was leading into that collision with both boots at head height.

Parish is bang on. What was the keeper thinking? Clear it and hit him 100%

That's kind of the point
But what Parish is attempting to assert is that the 'challenge' was reckless. Yer don't need to come out with the intention of nailing someone. It can be malice-free but still reckless whether you hold up yer hands, apologise but you've endangered an opponent. It's a red card all day and every day, from every whistling wanker and VAR wallah.

I was trying to be sarcastic and draw parallells to the Ederson/Mane incident and the comments that came from Liverpool supporters after it. It didn't come off, apparently. To be clear, I'm 100% agreeing it's a very obvious red card, just the same as Mane's on Ederson.
