Not the same this thread when there is nobody to wind up.
They might get a wee lift with their cup tie this weekend.lol.

I said at the start of the season after we'd won the league with Kev only playing half the season & Erling missing 3 months could Arsenal do the same if Odegaard & Saka missed similar portions of the season & they've bottled it.

It's shown how much they've relied on Saka, when teams have doubled up on him it has released more space for Trossard, Martinelli & Odegaard when he's played.
They haven't done it with Odegaard and Saka playing all season. Oh, and Rce as well.

I think we're in danger of being unfair, but unfair to City rather than to Arsenal. Since Arsenal won the PL last City have won it 8 times! We almost take winning the PL for granted. It's almost as though it's easy. But it isn't, not by a long way. and as Shankly said "first is first, second is nowhere". If we look at managers who have won the PL we have to admit they are a pretty talented bunch. Three of them won it with City which I believe it is more than with any other club and we consider the greatest of them all has won it (six times and counting) with City. For many reasons Arteta does not match up to the names on that list. His limit seems to be second, and a clear second best. He may prove me wrong, but I doubt it. It can be argued that he was a title winner at City as assistant manager, but he's not the only one, which shows that the force behind our titles is the incomparable Pep Guardiola. Not everyone can win the PL by any means, and Arteta belongs among that list.
I think our fans sometimes lose sight of the fact we've won 8 titles.

He needs to be all in for the CL now. I've seen some hysterical nonsense about them dropping out of the top four - that's bollocks. The fans will get behind him if they reach the CL final, but if they go out of that before the semi final stage I reckon there be could be some tough questions in the boardroom - I'd imagine they're looking at options now.

They run their club in such a cynical manner from top to bottom their kids don't see anything wrong with how they are taught. Could have been Lewis-Skelly, Gabriel or even Partey (hope they don't learn anything else from him though).

Would be nice to see them play the Leeds team we played in the Youth Cup. If that was to happen and be refereed honestly and correctly, there wouldn't be many players left on at full time.

We were interested in Cunha at Wolves. Seeing his reaction today - lashing out at Kerkez, headbutting him and then refusing to leave the pitch- I can only imagine we are lining up a £100m bid imminently as he'll fit in perfectly.

Your fan base would be screaming corruption & sending death threats if he was an Arsenal player

Just watched him lashing out, you've got to be on the marching powder to have a response as odd as that.

Our replacements were not exactly unknowns.
Tarquins have 2 kids doing their a levels now, essential parts of their team.

Scousers have Salah playing out of his skin….
