All the action i have seen are similar to what I expect during a backdoor meeting.

I guarantee he would not be the CEO of your company for much longer. Thats why high level people do not negotiate in the way Trump and the USA did yesterday.

All they have succeeded in doing is enhancing Zelenskys reputation and driving a wedge between Transatlantic relations.

Trump is also wrong when he says that Ukraine does not have a very good hand. When the other guy is prepared to fight to the death, thats a game no one can win. It does not matter what cards Trump has, America will lose out in this situation, in some way. Yet, he is too stupid to realise this. Trump could have been a hero. History will look down in shame on his performance yesterday. No one negotiates like that.

With what we know about Trump I think the most likely outcome of yesterday's debacle is that it was a set up for Zelensky. If a peace deal can't be done then it sure as hell isn't going to be Trump's fault as far as Trump is concerned.
It had all the makings of "Look how much I tried but that Ukraine guy is the problem. Not Putin and certainly not ME!"
