Away fans / tourists in home sections

Give credit where credit credits due. The ones I met outside asking for directions etc were a laugh and respectful. Personally I hope they stay up and we’ll meet them again. Their manager seems a good guy as well.

Oh I forgot to mention I’m in bed now a little pissed , those lads have got another two weeks sat on a coach to get home.

I know mate.

It’s obviously not confined to our club and our end either, especially when you have Plymouth fans complaining that City fans were in their end FFS!
The only way City fans could get in the away bit is if they have connections with PAFC and got tickets from them or bought from touting agencies if PAFC fans fancied making a quick buck. - I'm assuming PAFC don't have deals with touting agencies as we do.
There's a hospitality area in SS2 isn't there. Could City fans have shelled out for that lounge and got in with Argyle fans?

Some Blues are so stubborn I could imagine them staying in the South Stand L3 toilets for a week after the Liverpool game!!

There's a lot of unnecessary hostility shown sometimes by a minority of our fans.

I wasn't in my usual ST seat for the Salford game because I took my Mrs and needed 2 seats together so we were sat elsewhere.

There was quite a rude bald c*nt in CB level 3 who wore an orange coat on our row and he immediately assumed we were tourists. (He actually had the look of a peadophile). I didn't make a fuss of it because I was with her, but if I see the bald headed c*nt again then I'm having words.

I’m a bald **** and I also possess an orange coat. Just for clarification purposes, I’ve never sat in CBL3 though and you’re welcome to check my hard drive ;)

These were the ones I saw on TV. The club should realise this is the way it will go if they continue to enable them being there in the first place (regardless of any token actions taken this week in recalling £15 tickets)
These sat further down from me in 134 , 4 of them , not subtle stone island badge , soon seen off by the family stand under 12’s new governors ,with the help of a couple of stewards
Happened now for last 3 home games
You’ll never take the family stand

Couple in 126 thrown out when they scored, fair dos to the stewards who got them out immediately. You could see a few Blues were itching to take a pop but know its a ban if caught on camera.

I thought what a stupid thing to do jumping up in the home end when they scored but then remembered doing the same at Bolton in 2001 when Kennedy wacked one in from 20 yards.

Me and my disabled 90 year old dad got thrown out v Spurs and banned for a few matches (long story involving an umbrella, no angels but lets just say the stewards version of events differed to mine) so I trust those found in the home sections were not allowed back in the ground.

Does anyone know if this does happen and they are not just put with the away fans when identified?

No, they're thrown out if they're found.

I’m guilty of it once but with a slight twist.

I jumped up when we scored, but i was in the away end at Maine Road v Blackburn.

Can’t remember the score but it was a top of the table clash in the championship/1st Division. I remember Edgehill scored the goal

Couldn’t get a ticket in our home end, my friend worked for CIS (Blackburn sponsor at the time)

Surprisingly loads of blues in there, we just all got escorted into the home section of the North Stand and stood at the back

The tourist argument is annoying and it should stop. It's directed at new fans when any frustration about prices and ticket allocation should be directed at the club.

I stand in 115, row Y, the singing section, SSL1.

Unbeknown to me there were 2 Plymouth fans in the row infront of me.

They left a few minutes before the end of the match.

The girl stood to the right of them, told me, when I got talking to her after they had left.
You know the drill jrb, photos

The stewards mustn't be happy with having to deal with away fans in the home end and the issues that come when they are found out.
I don't know what stewards are paid but I'm pretty sure it's not enough to be having to split up fighting and getting abuse when kicking people out.
I saw some new stewards getting coached by a supervisor well before the start of the game.

I know that City’s senior management / admin are aware that our ground is becoming a more aggressive place. How they go about helping to address this will be interesting including the role of the ticket compliance manager. Think he’s called Michael. And whether they will give any leeway to Blues who’ve responded to being incited by away fans in our end.

Cover your mouth.
