Great draw, ground around the corner from mine.
You own a ground too Frank? Good investment of your royalties I suppose.

Happy with the draw to be honest. No Arsenal, rag, dipper, chav or Spursey left in it.
Bournemouth away is the type of game you need to win to get to the final.
No CL as a distraction either and we will be a different team to the one that lost there earlier in the season.

A good draw, a tough one but one we can win.

The positive is that, should we get past Bournemouth, we're at Wembley and that brings with it a rise in pressure for those not used to the occasion. We've been there and done it and will hopefully have the passion to right the disaster from last year.

Villa feel like the biggest threat, but with our form this season we could lose to any of the sides remaining!

I still love the FA Cup so for me it would be a brilliant season if we won it.

I've said the same about the cup this season. Win this, qualify for CL next season and have a fruitful summer rebuild. Not too bad for an off season.

I think that is the hardest draw, this or Villa away. We will need to be on it as they play some good football and have lots of strength and pace
Bournemouth mid-January were probably the form team in the league, but they have lost 3 out of 4 league games in Feb, the only win against Southampton.

Not saying it's easy, but definitely winnable.

And we were in a right 2 n 8 when we played em a few months back. Different team now, whilst nowhere near our very best,we've still got enough to win.

We could have done with Preston at home but we'd have had to face either Villa, Brighton or Bournemouth in the semi final if we had. Although there has been an improvement in our form I'm not 100% sure we have enough pace and energy to match these three sides at the moment. Hopefully we have.

It would be a fantastic season. Standards might be different now, but during our baron run all I dreamed of was winning a cup. It would be a huge boost and great experience for the new players at the club. Gives them a taste of success and helps us kick on next season with that under our belt. I would much rather win the FA Cup than qualify for the CL, and might be in the minority on that. But football is about winning things, not making prize money. I don't look back on our revenues with the same pride I have for winning the league or cups!

Moot point as we'll be fine for the CL next season anyway in my opinion.

Villa have more strength in depth now, but they'll be under pressure to qualify for the CL again next season. Something will give. They can shuffle in attacking areas, but they still seem to rely on Tielemans and McGinn in most games. CL last 16, plus league and FA Cup games. Would be a tough game but they're weakened by the number of fixtures they have.

Because we have some absolute fannies who trot out the same old, tired shit every draw. “and there it is, away draw. Just knew it.” Fannies.
It's like the fannies who say the rags always get home draws. Well I've just checked the draw and they aren't at home this time.

It's fine, I am not sat at home making up conspiracies and shaking in worry over completely made up things
And neither am I. My mental capacity and energy is used for helping and supporting my lovely OH and the life changing illness he has with all that involves. Footy and and 'conspiracy theories' are just an amusing distraction.

And just to inform you, I do believe there is some truth in the 'conspiracy theories' ; big betting companies in Asia have a lot to answer for......
