Bar city fans commenting, the rest of the comments are absolutely pathetic. Most of the comments, you've guessed it, are from the Red Cartel fans.

Daily Mirror - Facebook. Owned the City hating Reach PLC.

They aren't all Liverpool fans though either.

Look, I think the some of the press don't particularly like us, and most prefer at least one of the red cartel, or possibly some imaginary PL golden age from around 2000. That's been evident for an age. There are even some who have it in for us, but not all of them do.

But there are journalists who write some fair articles and we get hissy because there's a line or a word we don't like. Or because something can be read differently than it was maybe intended.

I'm all for calling out shit, but some (not saying you, it's just you I'm replying to) of our fans take the tiniest thing as signs of bias or hatred. It isn't always, sometimes it's just a shit article.
A few seasons back Guardian crayon scrawlers would comment on the weeks CL games, they would discuss the other English teams performances but when it came to City they would take turns to say they didn't bother watching us. It seems to have spread among our supposedly football media, with a number saying the same, or claiming they switched off as soon as we went a goal up.
I couldn't care less whether they like us or not, but when you listen to them slapping each other on the back, saying what a top class article so and so produced in today's Beano, you know hardly any of these parasites deserve to be in any kind of job.
I can take criticism from the likes of Martin Samuel, because whether I agree with him or not I know he will be giving an honest opinion and not just baiting people for clicks. Some fans at all clubs tend to over react, but they aren't being paid a very handsome salary to stir up hatred between rival clubs and their support bases only to then start whining when supporters react back. You are correct about shit articles, but it's more than some. The sooner their employers go out of business, the better

I find it hilarious how both Arsenal and Liverpool are fighting over who Michael Oliver is trying to screw over. The only positive of our poor season is that they can’t work out how it is still our fault despite us not being in the title race.
We pay his wages though, so its his mission in life to scupper the gruesome twosome

First time I have seen an article like this. What if City win the case?

Mullock is reasonably well connected with the club, which makes it interesting.

Masters out, lawyers out, costs paid are all pretty obvious. But his third point was especially interesting:

If City "win" the case, then there should be an investigation into why the club was charged in the first place. Referring to Masters being interviewed by United and Liverpool.

Makes you think .....

Edit: Sorry, point already made. I should finish reading the thread before I comment. Still interesting, though.

I was greeted this evening by media links of how the rags want to wear black as their club is dying via debt.

As someone curious about how much debt they had.. I google it and to my surprise this came up:

That's gotta be manufactured bullshit right. We don't actually have that kind of debt.. do we??

That's probably CFG who have long-term borrowings of nearly 500 million.

City has long term borrowings of around 60 million which isn't actually borrowings at all in the bank borrowing, repayable, sense just an esoteric accounting method of treating long-term leasing.

There is also around 60 million due on player acquisitions.

But nowhere near 400-500 million in the club's accounts.

I think :)

I think that's about right, isn't a big chunk of ours to do with the NYFC stadium?

The internet was supposed to be this ground breaking tool to educate and spread knowledge around the world. Safe to say it got derailed.

Society got derailed and ordered into binary factions, it became the order of the day to argue cold hard facts with whataboutery and nonsense.

I have a computer therefore I am a colossus and my opinion has worth.

Well we do have debt, in that we owe money to trade creditors and to other clubs for players. All clubs do. But that figure seems to be CFG's debt, not City's. So it is indeed bullshit.

Talking about ground breaking, that grubby little rag Ogden was whining on ESPN about funding for the rags new ground and how City and West Ham basically were given free stadiums. Given the fact that the tax payer has funded new stands in that shit hole a number of times its amazing Hilda has the bare faced cheek to call anyone out. Ogden isn't just derailing, he's trying to blow the whole platform up.

It's a great feeling to see that cockroach whingeing about the plight of the Trafford Tramps.
What is Ogden's actual job title ?
Is he the chief bucket rattler to try and get public money and also get public opinion on their side ?
If so, let's help to keep him in his job.
The bloke is yesterday's news, just like his club...

Not only that but the rags got the swamp free of charge thanks to their first sugar daddy John Henry Davies footing the entire cost of contsruction out of his own pocket. The club didn't pay a penny in construction costs.

Then their second sugar daddy James Gibson lobbied incessantly, calling in favours from politician friends with no doubt brown envelopes changing hands, for the government to foot the bill for rebuilding the bomb damaged parts of the swamp. The government ended up paying that cost and even paid for the cost of removing the rubble before reconstruction started. All this at a time of severe post war austerity and hardship.
