You've hit the nail on the head with the amount of money the Glazers have given them to spend.

They were the most expensive squad in Europe only a couple of seasons ago, They gave every single manager money to build a team, Not one of those managers could ever say that they weren't backed financially by the Glazers.

They haven't been successful on the football pitch, No Premier League title in 12 years, No Champions League trophy in 17 years, Also failing to qualify for the Champions League on numerous occasions, All that adds up into massive loss year in year out whilst spending top dollar on players and wages.

Yet they say "It's all the Glazers fault", It shows how thick they really are! Funny as fuck that their most successful manager and the man that they adore is to blame possibly more than anybody in this downfall, He fell out with JP McManus over Rock Of Gibraltar, They sold up and the Glazers took over, Ferguson and The Glazers were on the best of terms when they were together, And to top it all off, Ferguson knew fine well when he was retiring and let the squad age and brought in Van Persie a player that would help them win a title as it clearly wasn't a long term signing...

Numerous things go back to Ferguson, Yet the thick fuckers in Stretford are too dumb to notice.

Prerequisite of being a rag fan = thick fucker

Happily I can't see a way out for them. Their squad and ground essentially have no value and to get them upto their so called standard would need 4 billion spending, that's never going to happen under the Glazers and Scruffy Jim.

Would only paper over the cracks like they have been doing over the last ten years without any real progression on or off the pitch….,

Fuck em
yeah but not getting there means even less ca$h available from Adidas and the black hole of no European football too

I still rage at the penalty they were given at PSG under Ollie in what was described by the media has their greatest European result of recent times.
The ball hit the back of a PSG player, the rags claimed for it and the ref obviously obliged
That Rashford shot that was going to hit the Eiffel Tower?…joke decision.

Anyone looking at buying a business will look at various factors
  • Assets
Land owned > Seems they own some land around the stadium
Facilities > Old Trafford & Carrington
For a football club Squad > say no more
Key Executives > mainly unproven and the football management is struggling to say the least
  • Debt
Over 1B as far as stated in public
  • Brand
Still quite valuable but living in the past
  • Income
Generate a good amount of revenue but, with the onfield form this has peaked for now
  • Potential
    Without huge investment very limited
  • Outlook and Trends
Outlook isn't good with a year on year decline
Tends Again a clear decline with poor investment in the key asset
  • Cost
To purchase a majority of shares then looking at the market value of $2.45B which is a 27% year on year decline
    Squad development would need £500M
Infrastructure new or developed stadium would be >£3B
  • Current Owners
Will they be cooperative in selling? > Judging by recent one then no
  • Limitations
Squad investment would be hampered by PL financial regulations
  • Outlook
Unless they can win the Europa League then desperate

So, to summarize unless a cash-rich multi billionaire wants a trophy asset then they aren't very attractive

I wonder will the bloke from Qatar come back in for them. I can see Radcliffe wanting out in the next year or two plus the Glazers are not getting any younger.

Still find it remarkable that the bloke that wants to buy the club, was given the reigns anyway, and is now running it into the ground. You can only assume from this that he is going back to the Glazers with a cash out now type offer.

18 months ago, the bidding war was 6bn

It is nowhere near that now.

Back? It hit the players arm and quite clearly. The argument was did it fall in the handball laws. That was more than debatable but fuck them, they went out the next round if I remember rightly

I do wonder if being Jewish the Glazers would be reluctant to sell to an Arab

There was also a story that Sheikh Jassim pulled out after some due diligence

Recent rumors that he is back in and talking to Ineos probably bull as being traded on NYSE any talks would require to be notified
