It is the Judges’ statement so they will lead on when it is made public. The two parties will prepare their own releases to coincide with the statement.

Really? I don't remember ever seeing a statement released by a disciplinary/ arbitration panel? The PL normally announces the decision with a link to the award, followed by a club statement, no?

20th March is the vernal equinox and the astronomical start of spring. The meteorologists use 1st March but that’s just an arbitrary date really.

I didn’t say they physically released it themselves but they do lead on the timing. It is just published on their website.The timing is usually agreed jointly with all three parties so they can manage the comms.

I'd imagine these particular commentators had the arbitrary date in mind rather than the vernal equinox when talking about the potential release date.
