Just watching all the highlights of city on YouTube and what a journey it has been. So much emotion ffs.
The more they rant and rave, the more I want to win this. Rub their noses in it.
Meh, they owe everyone millions;)Also they never actually paid city when their ground was bombed during 2nd world war and we let them play at Maine Road.
With cumulative interest they owe us millions.
The only good thing about it is the name.
Its going to be a blast starting again....Just watching all the highlights of city on YouTube and what a journey it has been. So much emotion ffs.
Maybe that's more a problem on our side, our PR has been shockingly poor and one reason I have a slight concern about the 115 outcome. There has been very little national coverage of the new arena, the new stand, or the hotel. In fact hardly anything has been reported about any of Sheikh Mansour’s wider investments in Manchester. The media has also ignored the fact he has so far made at least £2bn profit on his investments. It doesn’t really support the fake sportswashing narrative.
Pribably not, but the article is far removed from his usual bias pieces.![]()
2025 Club World Cup: 'Fears for future' of domestic leagues amid $1bn prize pot
New European Leagues president Claudius Schafer says he "fears for the future" of domestic competitions amid the increasing prize money from international tournaments.www.bbc.co.uk
Not a chance Stone writes this article if his beloved Rags were cashing in….

What was the conclusion of the report? Something like UEFA should takeover all broadcast rights to end the disparity with the English clubs and Lithuanian.Media are using UEFA Landscape Report to fill out their papers / websites.
Naturally, the first item in the report, revenue, is not highlighted by the media because according to this report, City are 2nd in Europe, narrowly behind Real Madrid. And it wouldn't do to highlight that. Better to focus on costs etc so that they get the required message across
I take your point, but the premise of the article is that more money to certain clubs makes long runs with them winning the title more likely. While that is undeniably the case in the long run, perhaps over decades, there is a glaring incongruity between the winners of the Premier League over the last 4 years and the PL net spend table. The prem though more balanced still could have done with forest, villa or newcastle being serious title.contenders the last few years rather than the predictable Us/scouse/arse dynamic.
And most of his readershipSlimy Stone really enjoyed his little moment putting our 4-in-a-row stat in the article, even though it actually proves the opposite of the premise of his article. His premise would have made Man Utd champions for the last 5 years! Of course he's too dopy to realise what he's done.
All those evil people investing in football creating thousands of jobs and helping thousands of businesses. The only thing the UEFA bosses care about is lining their own pockets. They don’t want competition. The more they rant and rave, the more I want to win this. Rub their noses in it.
That’s a fair point. We have not helped ourselves much. Even the local media has not given us substantial coverage.Maybe that's more a problem on our side, our PR has been shockingly poor and one reason I have a slight concern about the 115 outcome.
If I was the Sheik/Khaldoon I would not be sitting on my hands with some of the things said about the club, when in reality we have transformed a run down area of Manchester and for that matter revolutionized the way elite football clubs are run and operated and in doing so transformed the quality of the Premier League teams from top to bottom.
Khus is also a muslim and from the relics of the old Soviet Union, the other is a white , blue eyed Dane playing for the world's favorite football club.So...United remain unbeaten in Europe. Look how the media are spinning an utter wank performance. They totally controlled the game. Yet here we are 19 games on and the player they were comparing to Haaland who cost circa 70million is still awaiting that goal.
Now ask yourself this. We signed Khusanov,a young kid who made 1 mistake in his debut,a game we went onto win.The media hammered him, a player who has been outstanding since then, barely recognised since for his outstanding play. They didnt protect him like they have Hoijland.
Ask yourself why?
Have a media free day blues and if not remember to take stories for what they are.
imagine being stupid enough to try and criticise and cajole a player who has almost no english and expecting to even understand let alone careKhus is also a muslim and from the relics of the old Soviet Union, the other is a white , blue eyed Dane playing for the world's favorite football club.
The media almost hatred to Khusanov has been a disgrace and very wrong, it's interesting that our opponents in the games he has played for us have gone out of their way to praise and cajole him on the pitch, they know exactly what the press are doing.
But all this will come back to haunt them, Khus for me is going to be a big star in football.
Just shows how ignorant and stupid they are.imagine being stupid enough to try and criticise and cajole a player who has almost no english and expecting to even understand let alone care
