I’ve been out of the uk 20 years (in my defence)

i'm no longer there but be assured when i was it was an utter shambles.

per year royal mail lose over 10million letters,
they can't guarantee shit.

1million letters a month are posted through the wrong door.
it used to really piss me off.
the postie only has one job...
to match the house number on the envelope with the actual house.
that's it.

£1.50 first class my arse!
takes the cunts days.

i live on the west coast of north africa landlocked by the desert.
last week i posted a card to australia.
it cost me the equivalent of 20p and arrived 3days later.

the average royal mail director takes home £120k a year
and the **** that runs the shitshow is on £250k.

I think that’s quite a generous interpretation given he could’ve just said ‘sorry guys, you’ve misread that, didn’t mean to cause any confusion’.

Blimey, actually did some work today and I see it's all gone off here (positively). Doesn't seem to be anything more tangible than some positive posts from certain people.

Maybe the "draft judgment" has landed and confirms we have been cleared. If so, I doubt we will get a categoric thumbs up for a week or so, when the final judgment is published. The PL won't leak anything negative, and will want to delay until a time that suits them. City won't leak because that's not how we operate. I would imagine we are grown up enough to give the PL a reasonable amount of time to announce things.

He tends to clarify things if there's a larger reaction than he anticipated. Although I am still standing by my bed. I personally enjoy the way he shares his info. Keeps us all on our toes!

on a tardiness side note,
the longest postal delay in the world was by royal mail.
an rsvp invitation posted in 1919 that didn't arrive until 2008.
