President Trump

I'll respectfully disagree with those who replied to my posts; I wholeheartedly believe that if the message is the right one, that taps into the electorate, then that person will win. Regardless of gender or race.
It would be nice to think you're correct, unfortunately I'm not convinced.

If this happens I hope we are found guilty and relegated to non-league as far away from this cunts orbit of influence as is possible

Trump won because America couldn't stand to elect a black woman over him. And that's ALL it was.

Rubbish. And there was an increase in percentage of black people voting for him. The highest vote in fact for a Republican since Bush in 2000.
So how does that square with your intimation of racism?

You've obviously never knocked a door for a political party. That's really not how it works.

I think in retrospect Trump would have beaten Biden too for what it’s worth. I am sure some people did indeed vote against the black woman because she was a black woman. But I’d bet many more voted for him because inflation “was the Democrats’ fault” or because “Republicans are better for the economy.”

Just like many in the UK think that the Tories are better for the economy. They’re not, they’re just better at distracting.

Going to those ‘private’ schools gives them a huge advantage, but many are now turning away from the entitled and looking for a more progressive approach.

Has any of our parties started to look at the young?

If I was an American and the Democrat nominee had a strong appeal in what they said, absolutely regardless of their race or gender, then they would have my vote.

Against Trump, nearly anyone or anything would have my vote. That’s the point of just about everyone here I think. Trump is a specific danger and uniquely unqualified to be President. At least Harris, Biden or a ham sandwich would be less likely to do harm. Also, this wasn’t exactly a mystery heading in. If someone needed a “message” against Trump, then that’s a defect of intelligence, education, personality or character.

I know those that voted for him don’t want to hear that. I know it sounds smug, moralistic and elitist. But that’s just too bad, because it’s correct whether they like it or not.

We have been over this before, so I will just say one thing; when a country/electorate is divided then it is imperative that each side is listened to by the other. Even if each side thinks the other is "thick, moronic" or "smug, elitest."
Somewhere in the middle is the truth, regardless of how each side feels about it.
