I admire your courage for posting the article in the first place knowing that there would be a pile on and a lot of knee-jerk reaction.Capello isn't a patch on Pep, however, he is entitled to an opinion, which we are entitled to disagree with.

We well you've edited your opening post when initially you said you agreed with every point. For those getting fired up thinking this is an attack on Pep, or questioning what he has or hasn't won, it isn't.
He is undoubtedly the best manager the world has seen, a true genius, but all geniuses have flaws. I think Pep has a tendency to over think and over compensate for things he thinks aren't perfect.
I just thought this would spark and interesting debate.
Over the last 24 hours I’ve heard plenty of ex pros and media jumping on the bandwagon of highlighting that Peps way of playing isn’t the best way to win games. Probably the same people licking his arse for the last 7 years when Peps way of playing has re defined what it takes to win.Care to elaborate on that point?
Not exactly the msm is it, infact who reads www.90 fcukin minI'm sad to say, I do agree on some parts
Not sure about the 'damaging' football bit or arrogance though.
But certainly this bit
"Why are you going to watch 90 minutes of passes and horizontal passes without fighting, without running." - This pretty much sums up yesterday's game

Starting Rodri AND Fernindinho on bench for gondog in final vrs Chelski was definately a massive fuk upWe well you've edited your opening post when initially you said you agreed with every point.
Does he overthink?
Well he innovates frequently and occasionally those innovations don't work, no one is infallible.
More often they do work, but sometimes they take time, practice and the occasional tweak before they work.
Personally I don't see this as a fault.
That way of playing wasn't the same during them 7 years. We would play, with pace, with purpose and directly in them earlier years. That evolved to even more heavily possession based and pulling the opposition all over. Tactics and formation changed. He needs to evolve and change again for future success and I am sure he will.Over the last 24 hours I’ve heard plenty of ex pros and media jumping on the bandwagon of highlighting that Peps way of playing isn’t the best way to win games. Am I not entitled to change my wording in a post? (and by the way, I didn't say I agreed with every point). You have to choose your words very carefully on this forum, otherwise you're at risk of being labelled a rag or the enemy. We well you've edited your opening post when initially you said you agreed with every point.

Pep's "over-thinking" trying to find new ways to make us better has benefited us many more times than it has cost us.So you disagree that Pep hasn't thrown away some of our biggest games by overthinking and trying to be too clever?
Oh I agree with that, but sadly that's modern human nature, to kick a man when he's down. But I don't think Capello was doing that. He's also a CL winning manager, so he has more right to an opinion that many of the hacks do. I guess his views come from the fact that he and Pep have very different ideologies regarding how the game should be played and how players should be managed.Over the last 24 hours I’ve heard plenty of ex pros and media jumping on the bandwagon of highlighting that Peps way of playing isn’t the best way to win games. What a load of absolute bollocks from a fucking clown who turned England into the most boring and useless team in the world. Talking a load of absolute horseshit.
