Week in week out there appears to a glaring lack of intent to play forward with any pace or tempo.
Far too many occasions when the first action is to turn inside and look back to play safety balls to a defender.
I am all for structure and build up. However possession and passing for passings sake is not only easier to defend against but also dull and boring.
Come on take the handbrake off occasionally and take some risks.
 
Christ that was a difficult watch. Slow and turgid, no cutting edge and nearly done on the break.

I think there’s only Lauren who would take a risk and the rest seem to follow her example! We need a player with a bit of swagger-
