Either be a game like Newcastle where we have a very rare day of being clinical and winning or the usual dross this season of possession and slow play, hardly creating anything as the only team who plays wingers who contribute fuck all in the final third and hardly a player in the box with the usual calamity fuck up at some point at the back.
2-0 or 1-2, god knows these days

We have 6 games left at home and must win them all to even stand a chance of getting top 4 imo.

Ederson

Nunes
Khusanov
Dias
Gvardiol

Gonzalez
Kovacic
Grealish

Savinho
Haaland
Marmoush

Name this team (in house ofc) Monday, work 5 days repeatedly practising high tempo, forward, fast and direct attacking plays in possession. Savio and Doku practice hundreds of times to beat the first defenders when in crossing positions. Out of possession, practice everyone is the first line of defence, even you Erling.

----‐--------Eddy
Khusanov Dias Reis Gvardiol
----Nico_Gonz Nico_OReilly
----Savio Marmoush Doku
-------Haaland

Hopefully Bobb and Echeverri as subs

Give Bernardo, Kova and Rico the weekend off to recharge their batteries, ready for the run in.
a midfield two , thats interesting

Taking things out of their context and jumping to conclusions is a common error. Sane and Sterling played with prime KDB, David and Ferna. This season our midfield has been crap. Our defence too. Savinho (20) and Doku 22) have been our least problem. Had they played with a brilliant team behind them, they'd have looked much better.
They've had their moments, but too few and far between.
Let's face it, you could have Pele, Messi and Maradona in your team, but if you keep playing it straight at a defender's shinbone, that move has still just broken down...

Bournemouth have just scored a goal against Tottenham so reminiscent of KDB -> EH, during Erling's first season before the world cup break.
A pace and directness that would be transformative, if we could regain it.

The final game before the international break usually sees us play crap, but we've had another week to prepare again, lol

better win this six pointer. Unlike yesterday’s no show. Lucky spurs managed to peg back Bournemouth. This run in ain’t gonna be easy. Right now no games look like a gimme way we are playing. Maybe Leicester and Southampton. But I look at a resurgent Aston Villa, Brighton pushing for Champions League spot. Palace one of our bogey teams. Everton away. Wolves in dogfight. The team really are gonna have to dig in and the issue is a good few of them know next season they’ll be digging in somewhere else. Anyway CTID.

Voted for loss.

I think we've died a death this season.

I would have anyone there but him at the moment. He deserves dropping and staying dropped until he pulls his finger out.
I agree he goes missing too often in games. He calls for the ball while stood in positions surrounded by the opposition then sulks when he does not get it!! FFS find space then run into it. Oscar Bobb will dislodge him when he's fit. I like Foden but he's still hung up over the England debacle.

Gone for a win - but like our season since October this ain't gonna be pretty.
As per yesterday - we'll be strong defensively now, but creativity wise I'm not sure where it's coming from (that's the Summer job).
1-0 and couldn't care less where it comes from

Ederson
