There is space, it has to be attacked quickly. What we do is tippy tap the crap out of the ball in the middle third and allow everyone to set up with two banks of 5. We've done it most of the season.Maybe it's because Forest decided to defend deep this time. When a team defends deep, there is usually no space to run in behind.

Passing sideways and backwards is a good thing when you have the lead and your making opponents chase around trying to get the ball. When not leading against an unambitious opponent passing around aimlessly is counter productive.

If you wish I will add up the weekly wage bill of all players and staff involved and apart from 2 or 3 the effort was appalling. Now I have watched this club for many a day and know what the bad times are like and if they come back fair enough but yesterday was a pure piss take. I would expect a better showing next Saturday. It felt like a pre season friendly or end of season dead rubber in the first half.What was our game plan yesterday ? where were we going to open them up ? where was a training ground plan we had all week to work on, Haaland had nothing to do other than a fresh air swinger, Where is the running off the ball ? Where is the movement and pulling them out of shape ?
