SSN are reporting that United will sell the naming rights to the new £4bn stadium to pay for it apparently!

So lets get this right! Sir Jim is going to sell the naming rights to Old Trafford without the Glaziers realising?

He will then invest that money into building a new stadium over 5 years (without Glaziers noticing) but will still only own 25% of the new stadium? Whilst the Glaziers will then own a billion pound stadium by accident?

They’ll tuck away £50m or so into “feasibility studies” like a certain other team in red and won’t ask for any proof whatsoever of what the spend was on.

They got a £70m dispensation from the PL last year while Everton and Forest were docked points.

It stinks!

We need to keep the foot on the throat for receipts on this after what we’ve been through.

The Tampax arena - Containing 100,000* stuck up cunts.

*Official rags attendance figures.

Apparently the new stadium will bring £7 billion per year into the uk economy
How?
What a load of bollocks
Utter bullshit

How is an underestimated question that has been lacking from so many. No wonder so many people are scammed but do we believe the government will be?

The numbers seem unbelievable and a little dubious.

From the BBC article...
"United say the entire project has the potential to create 92,000 new jobs, will involve the construction of 17,000 homes and bring an additional 1.8 million visitors to the area annually. They add the project will be worth an additional £7.3bn per year to the UK economy."

An additional £7.3bn per year. Works out approx £140m per week, £20m per day.

An additional 1.8m visitors annually. Approx 35,000 per week, 5,000 per day.

Taking the £7.3bn and 1.8m visitors, that means each one is expected to bring £4,000 and that's a lot of prawn sandwiches, popcorn, pizza and Coca-cola.

For one matchday it could be an extra 25,000 visitors, and let's be generous and say 30 matchdays, totals around the 0.8m for matchdays meaning the 1.0m/year or 20k/week coming for non-matchdays.
Will 20,000 additional visitors per week come to look at the canal?
It's similar to the number that go to Stonehenge every year, another prehistoric relic with little action.

Lies, lies & more fucking lies!

No one has asked the Glazers if they want Sir Jim to build a new £4bn stadium for them free of charge, without their permission!

Maybe they don't want to carry on taking the piss out of united fans!

Our owners (Adu Dhabi) pays the UK £24bn a year in defence!

There are Levels to this Game!

Their "brand" is artificially inflated and built on a myth, a foundation of sand propped up by the monetising grubbers promotion of a plane crash.

It should be left in the gutter and if anyone cares to pass it they should kick it so it stays there.
If their brand was THAT big, they wouldn't be in the shite/debt they are.

I've just watched the video. There is no way that they are going to get the money together for that. 3 towers, 200 feet high. The largest public space in the world. Sections of stadium floated down the ship canal. And finished within 5 years. Anything this ambitious will cost 5 billion, not 2 billion.
Potential headline: “United’s stand sinks in ship canal.”

Woke up with bloody cramp in my calf, so some early morning reading and comes as no surprise to find there still a bunch of self entitled deluded c*unts.

Might start to get up early so can I can despise everything about the poxy club a little longer each day :-)
