2) where is the land acquired to build this
3) what is this “south Manchester regeneration project” that is continuously mentioned by Jim
4) why are they “floating” the segments of stadium down the canal? Where are they being built to throw such a claim

Where is the dock in Salford to unload such large cargo?? There isn't one!

There's a chance the new stadium brings on financial ruin for United. As with most building project's of this size etc, its likely that it will cost more than they've estimated and take longer which may put United on the brink. It will certainly impact their plans in the transfer market which are already in a mess. Looking forward to more financial chaos at United.

Spurs’ everything under one roof, karting, NFL, longest bar and micro brewery has not exactly turned them into contenders has it? They’ve got worse.

Other examples is how Arsenal haven’t been near a premier League or champions league trophy since they’ve moved nearly 20 years ago.

The kitting out of the City of Manchester stadium nearly sunk City as club as they hadn’t budgeted for concessions to be kitted out. How this will be the rebirth of the rags with their dire financial situation and a choppy economic situation world wide coming remains to be seen.

Coz the football season is played in winter and it is mostly pissing rain.

They want to keep all the people there for as long as possible. If they play 30 games a season, that is 3 million punters. If you can have them as a captive audience for a full day or even a weekend, then you can double or triple what they would normally spend.

If I had a business in the City Center, which relies on match tourists, I would be concerned about this.

They could always get the AO Arena to organise it. They're good at that.

Inevitably this will be used to cover up all their losses and create a better squad, because the squad they have is shit.

Architects talk out of their arses , they produce drawings but have no fucking idea about labour costs , material costs , or how to finance a big project , it’s all piss and wind those drawings , and to be frank , they look like they’re been drafted by the office junior , who’s got software infront of them because they’ve left their crayons at home .
