Yeah, the better team won. End of story. Not many spinning that narrative. Can you imagine if it was City?Morning all. Thought I would take a quick look at the morning media and it's reaction to Liverpool crashing out of the C.League.
Media massaging Lverpools' egos??? Check.
Media saying how unfair it is to finish top and play PSG?? Check.
Not really seen many reports anywhere praising PSG and how good they were over 2 legs. Lets be honest the tie should have been over last week but how the media bigged up Liverpool for them to fall flat on their faces last night. Yes they had a few chances but lets be honest, they were fucking wank over 180 minutes and totally deserved to lose the tie.
Again, ask yourself why the media refuse to ever criticise Liverpool, how they always make the excuses for them?? It is a simple case of economics and not biting the hand that feeds you.
PSG pumped us in Paris and we rightly got criticism but balance is a thing the media simply do not do unless it suits their own click, income driven AGENDA.
Clear and Obvious...Remember those words that Khaldoon said a few years ago. Now I get it and have gotten it for a few years which is why I rarely engage, believe but more so let it bother me.
Enjoy your day blues. Focus on ourselves. Plenty to look forward to, those away days in league 2 are going to be fucking brilliant. I will still love my club 150% and my life will not change whatever happens to us. (Maybe ticket prices will reduce but doubtful). Don't let the media bother you. I always repeat the same I know but life is great without it.
Is it the end of an era as City thrashed by PSG?
City put in their place by Enrique masterclass
End of a dream as treble hopes smashed by plucky PSG
Best team in Europe? Think again Pep
