Neil Ashton iirc. Ex Sunday Supplement.

And I agree, our PR are absolutely dogshite.
There is zero point in our owners even trying a PR spin. The agenda driven media would simply manipulate anything they said and turn it against them. As I said in one of my previous posts, unfortunately Mansour and Khaldoon don't meet the correct ethnic demographic to allow for the type of circus show put on by Jim and gobbled down by the press in his recent interviews (pardon the circus pun given their new stadium proposal).

In Mansour and Ratcliffe you have two men that have made billions from petrochemicals. One of their investments was deemed 'dirty foreign oil money', the other was deemed 'local business man saves the club he supports (no mention of oil)......

After going out to PSG slot questions the new CL format saying finishing top in the league has no advantage if you get PSG in the draw ! What a knob!

It might be the saving of the champions league and get rid of the monopoly of the same teams winning it all the time. City and Madrid struggled in the group stages and faced off in the play off part of it. Villa have done well in the competition when in previous years they could have faced a tough group stage.

Has anyone in the media talked about the humiliation of the Champions-elect, leaders of the CL table and 'European Royalty' going out in the first knock-out round?

Or is that a silly question?
I suppose we should just be pleased the evening passed without incident and anyone getting hurt.

Morning all. Thought I would take a quick look at the morning media and it's reaction to Liverpool crashing out of the C.League.

Media massaging Lverpools' egos??? Check.
Media saying how unfair it is to finish top and play PSG?? Check.

Not really seen many reports anywhere praising PSG and how good they were over 2 legs. Lets be honest the tie should have been over last week but how the media bigged up Liverpool for them to fall flat on their faces last night. Yes they had a few chances but lets be honest, they were fucking wank over 180 minutes and totally deserved to lose the tie.

Again, ask yourself why the media refuse to ever criticise Liverpool, how they always make the excuses for them?? It is a simple case of economics and not biting the hand that feeds you.
PSG pumped us in Paris and we rightly got criticism but balance is a thing the media simply do not do unless it suits their own click, income driven AGENDA.
Clear and Obvious...Remember those words that Khaldoon said a few years ago. Now I get it and have gotten it for a few years which is why I rarely engage, believe but more so let it bother me.
Enjoy your day blues. Focus on ourselves. Plenty to look forward to, those away days in league 2 are going to be fucking brilliant. I will still love my club 150% and my life will not change whatever happens to us. (Maybe ticket prices will reduce but doubtful). Don't let the media bother you. I always repeat the same I know but life is great without it.

BBC Pat Nevin: You never know, that slippage from the acquisitions team might recover, but the problem is that others have caught up and City can no longer blow everyone out of the water financially due to PSR.

The not so subtle insinuation that we won solely because of money on the BBC and FFP etc did not exist. They continue to be the worst of the fucking worst.

According to Phil McNulty (BBC Sport website), Nunez' dipper career has been a "mixed bag".

WHAT?
Talk about polishing a turd.
He's been dog wank

Jim Shite earlier saying, more than once, that it was sad that Liverpool were out. Don't remember similar sentiments when we went out.

I love it when Liverpool get beat. Watching how differently the media treat it really brightens my day and confirms the bias. Breakfast TV this morning was laughable.
Do you hide under a rock to avoid it?
In my short journey this morning I had Talksport on, they spoke the whole time about them going out. As did the sports bar openly laughing and mocking them. They are of course media darlings but this is being reported and openly. Anywhere I click online it is covered. BBC who are a bunch of cunts have it as the top three stories.

talksport>>?? Do you need a brain implant?

Will they even fill it ?? another 5 years of fighting midtable at best would mean running losses and lost revenues
Arsenal will say its been over 20 years since they last won the title and was down to the new stadium cost
I seem to remember the then chairman of the tarquins claiming in the media that the new stadium would not affect player recruitment.
