Bit off topic but really wish we had Johnny Stones fit & available

If City had Stones and Rodri fit this season we'd be a completely different side. Our future is uncertain because we don't know how they are going to recover. Pep, and City have received much criticism but much is down to their absence.

Rodri's injury was a hammer blow but we have never had an adequate replacement for him and that was on us,Stones is a wonderful player when fit but that's the problem with him since the day he arrived.
This dropp off has been on the cards for 2 seasons, for me down to too much loyalty and shockingly poor planning and recent transfer windows.
January was a much better window but the summer one will define our coming seasons.

As much as I like Johnny Stones
People keep posting if we had him fit it would be a different team.
Surly no City fan is surprised that he's continually injured.
He's made of glass.
Still love him though but totally unreliable just a bonus if he's available. CTID

Agreed, but there is no excuse for not trying to adapt to the situation. That's the most frustrating thing, for me.

This season's been a perfect storm, perhaps - ridiculous injury count coupled with Pep's personal issues.

What’s also weird though is that we still have the first or second fewest attempts against us
That's really surprising - I could understand if we kept losing to a worldie, or freak deflection against thie run of play, but we aren't - feels like we get ripped apart some games.

Just demonstrates how stats can be totally misleading. I remember on here after Liverpool some were quoting stats - you'd have thought they'd watched a different game.

Only one stat matters today - C'mon City!
