Yeh I think that’ll come with age and experience- it’s easy to forget how young she is but she is (as the kids will say ;) an absolute baller

Knee ligament injuries seem to be quite worryingly common amongst the women players. Definitely needs to be more research done into this

That was unexpected! Great result, the second goal was a little bit of icing on the cake.
Two games in for the second Cushing era and we are already showing more attacking intent. The midfield did well today, Fowler had a good first half despite being kicked and shoved from pillar to post, hope she isn't injured. Kerolin exciting in the second half before running out of steam. Viv took her goals well, especially that second one. I thought Alexandria played better than she has of late.
The last time I heard any live creature squeal as much as Ramirez was when one of my whippets got a rat in the garden.
Anyway, well done City, good performance despite a few start passes, good atmosphere too.
 
We’ve got a really great squad of players and I’m really proud of how much the club backs and invests in the women’s team. I know there’s been a lot made about how much us fans are rightly getting annoyed at the club recently about the way we have been treated, but they do do a lot of good things and I think the way they’ve invested in the women’s team is an example of this
 
Just back from the game - great performance second half and did not see that coming at all. Miedema ruthless in front of goal and both Kerolin and Roord showed prominently too as attacking forces. Great result and so good to see City being more direct and potent - didn't think we had a chance so more than happy to be completely wrong, a superb showing by the Blues - now can we make it stand up?

I think Laia’s head isn’t here since the Barca rumours first arose. And it seems to me that she isn’t the same player without Greenwood holding her hand
 
That was sensational. Although I think Chelsea gave us a taste of what to expect next week in the last 15 minutes.

But in the spirit of enjoying the moment

Yamashita - Brilliant once again. Was worried about her earlier In the season but she looks so solid now

Ouahabi - Look she's not one for the future but even she did well today

Casparij - solid as ever

Aleixandri - Remembered how to play football. More of this please.

Prior - Looks like a hell of a player and one for England too. Playing with such maturity.

Yui - Yui is just Yui. No notes.

Roord - Roord was awesome today. Really got stuck in and supported the midfield in the way we've needed

Park - Amazing job at nullifying Walsh. It's not a fun job but she was great

Fowler - Baller

Kerolin - So excitng to see her acclimatising to English football. She's brings something totally different to Shaw and it's going to benefit the squad a lot going forward

Miedema - We are SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER

Murphy - Her quality is there to see. Brill to see a young player starting in a game like this and holding her own

Fowler is an absolute baller! Stepped up massively since Hemp got injured and it’s mad to think that she’s only 22
 
I"ve seen two games where we've been playing good sides and our movement, determination and desire to win were evident. There was the first leg v Barca and this one tonight. So much better at getting the ball forward and a much tighter shape to the whole team. Magnificent performance. CFC unbeaten this season until tonight. No 'Invincible' badge for CFC.

Thanks Alex. Loved it. Got pie, mash and gravy and a free Bovril all for £6.50. Toilets even had hand blowers! Sat down first half then moved behind the goal standing up for the second. Left bang on the full time whistle, walked across the road and jumped on a tram back to town. Absolutely brilliant night in every aspect.
