PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don’t know why everyone is obsessed by York.

York was one of the more attractive games of the season in a lovely city, with friendly people, just before Christmas and loads of great pubs.

Wrexham, on the other hand, the next game on the fixture list, on Boxing Day, no public transport, pissing down, the team at its lowest ebb post the York game and Wrexham being unfriendly and an absolute shit hole, should be the infamous fixture.

Wycombe was far worse mid week too.
Lincoln rarely gets a mention.

I did all four of them on our tour of the base of the pyramid.

Grim but interesting and 'enjoyable' in a rather perverse way !!

I wish I knew when the verdict was being announced so I could clear out my work load for that day.
I reckon I’ll need 12 clear hours after the verdict either way
If it goes for us I’ll need time to digest everything, read Twitter and message City hating friends and anyone who’s said we’re cheats, as well as post on various football forums.

If it goes against us I’ll have to turn off all devices and go for a long walk.

I’ve already thought about this and under no circumstance do I want to be in work when it’s announced, or at any type of social gathering or with friends or anything.
Yep. Same

Throw in Colchester,Macclesfield and Northampton and Darlington in the cup.
Although not far to travel the Macclesfield game sticks in my mind (assuming I remember it right) as it was wet , our end was packed and I could only see a small corner of the goal nothing else for most of the match. Luckily that was where Goater scored the very late only goal of a grim game (always had it in my head as a last minute winner). Wrexham I listened to on the radio due to family event ( and good excuse not to go as football wise we were at rock bottom). Think that was another grim 1-0 but thank god it was a win. Got a bit of stick for being a fair weather fan at next game!!

Lincoln home in the cup was bad enough...there was a highlight though, it was my eldest's first game and it was enough for her to get hooked on city.

When my eldest was 2, I went into the local bakers with him with a City bobble hat on, woman behind the counter said “oh don’t bring him in here wearing that hat”, I politely advised her to fuck off and said we won’t be coming in here any more. I did go back on my word and went in with him the following day in full City (him not me) and said he goes where he wants in his City stuff, he’s 2 and he’s already been to more City games than you’ve been to see the rags, and NOW I will not be coming in this rag shithole again. My son is now 18 and none of us have been in since. Shane, they did good pasties.

Same thing happened with my youngest on checkout at local Sainsbury’s, I told her to fuck off, and took all my stuff of her lane and moved it to the next one. She still works there and I’ve not used her lane since. I’ll join a big queue rather than be served by that ****. He was 2 then and is now 16.

Moral of the story - I’ve never took shit off rags, and never will. My lads have been brought up the same.

The 115 charges has kept me busy
Excellent parenting my man, bravo :-)

The reason York is mentioned so much is after that defeat the club were in their lowest position ever in the football league. 10th in league one(or 3rd division in old money).

Many fans including me at that time just couldn't see a way back. After the defeat at Wrexham on boxing day the players and staff had a team meeting and many players at that time have said that's where the dogs of war mantra started with Andy Morrison as the leader which saw the start of an upturn in results which led us back to The Premier League
