PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I know those with knowledge of similar proceedings and the like have touched upon it before so pardon my ignorance but when a decision has been given to the two parties, would any leaks be almost instant to that or would it take a few days?

I don't see how both teams could claim a 'win' as suggested by that Sky brief to pundits, there's fuck all grey area in the grand scheme of things, so could a reveal to the public be instantaneous as a reveal to the club and league?

I'm with you, don't see how both can claim a win. If we get cleared on the charges (apart from the cooperation), that still isn't any kind of a win for the PL. If we get cleared of many substantial charges, but some are deemed viable, that is not any kinf of a win for us.

The only way both parties can claim a win is if the panel determines somethings along the lines of, the PL had valid cause for concern and the accounting was ambiguous, but not enough that it breaches PL rules or general law. Then it is all up for grabs. But no idea how likely or unlikely that might actually be.

I agree that it's possible parts of the verdict will show City as having managed, with the help of their professional advisors, to work around the rules rather than infringe them, sometimes in ways that the people who drafted the rules didn't expect or hadn't contemplated. This is what happens when you lay down rules, and it's something legitimate businesses all across the world do every day.

If that is what happens, then there'll be lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth about loopholes or not complying with the spirit of the law. Such views aren't deserving of being taken seriously. If anyone puts forwards complaints specifically along these lines, then fuck them.
Just like selling Hotels to yourself - hardly a murmur from our respected comic writers!

Ha, you make it sound like leaks are mandatory :)

I would have thought a few days whilst both sides pour over the decision and make their minds up on appeals or otherwise.

Both sides claimed a win on the APT decision so I can't see why they couldn't do it again dependant on the written reasons. Not a chance that we find out at the same time, if the rumours are true then the PL and City already know (please god, make that true).

That picture of Khaldoon at the White House has rattled a few of the fans from other clubs who think he's just some football chairman.

It reminds me of that quote from Better Call Saul: "It's nothing to me, it's a bacterium. I travel in worlds you can't even imagine. You can't conceive of what i'm capable of.

I'm so far beyond you i'm like a god in human clothing!"

He literally runs rings around your average football chairman. I hope he doesn't hold back publicly when the outcome of these charges are known.

Probably advising Trump that he can easily whack another £15 a year on MAGA rally season tickets and people will still cough up their hard earned.

Just woke up to the song Mr. Blue-sky. ( ELO for the younger ones) echoing round my head ,looked outside, beautiful blue sky.
Went to the bog for the necessary, and low and behold the blue flush has started working. It must be a sign it's imminent.
Come on Koolhand give me a call ,I won't tell anyone, honest.
I'm imagining 2 spotty "younger Blues" virtually meeting up tonight for a mash up and Meta meet, turning on Bluemoon to catch up on the 115.

"Eh up r kid, what the fuck is Mr Blue Sky, some old boy on Bluemoon reckons its a tooon".
"Nah, never heard of it mate"
"Oh...hang on...it's by ELO!!!"
"Ahhh, fucking hell yeah man... ELO....why didn't you say...what a fucking peng band they were"
"Fuck yeah....fire up the spotify"
"Massssiiivvvvvee"
"Hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race"
"Lets ping some Incel emoji's....put me in the mood this"

"Lights out now Roger"
"OK mum"

I don’t know why everyone is obsessed by York.

York was one of the more attractive games of the season in a lovely city, with friendly people, just before Christmas and loads of great pubs.

Wrexham, on the other hand, the next game on the fixture list, on Boxing Day, no public transport, pissing down, the team at its lowest ebb post the York game and Wrexham being unfriendly and an absolute shit hole, should be the infamous fixture.

Wycombe was far worse mid week too.
I thought Mansfield in the Autoglass thing was the low ebb.
