F1 2025 Season

I agree. See if Max wants to smash him out of the race on the first corner.

Would love it continue. I fully expect their strategy team to fuck it up as usual.
Maybe so, however I imagine that’s part of the relationship between Hamilton and Ferrari in that the strategists will be learning from Hamilton’s experience.

Lewis on Sprint pole until Max takes him on the first corner.

Watched the highlights, I’m buzzing for Lewis.

Looks like Norris was on for pole til he had a little lockup and bailed on the lap though.

McLaren also went for two laps whereas the other top teams went for one flying lap in SQ3, so while it’s great for Lewis (and Max if you’re that way inclined) it’s not really representative of where the pace is.

No matter what happens, Lawson looks like he’s driving a golf cart, so that’s piss funny.

Hopefully Ricciardo and Perez are watching together with a few pints of Castlemaine and Corona and a few tacos on the barby, pissing their kecks laughing.

Also..what was I saying last week about Hamilton’s brutal consistency.

LeClerc had an advantage in testing and practice and into last weekend but Lewis was effectively chipping off a 10th in each session, and completely rinsed LeClerc in SQ this weekend.

Anyone who thinks Charles LeClerc (and for the record I like him) will get the better of unquestionably the best racing driver the sport has ever seen is living in cloud cuckoo land.

LeClerc is Hamilton’s new Rosberg.

Tough decision this evening on what to watch early tomorrow morning.

Do you go for the 3am sprint race and then miss the 7am qualifying session. Or miss the sprint race and get up at 7am and watch the qualy session.

If you don't care about sleeping watch both. .

Or fuck them both off and just watch the highlights...

I'm thinking watching the sprint race live is my preferred option... Tough one though!

Was interesting to see Ferrari give the order for them to switch on track just before their timed run. Seems they’d seen some telemetry that suggested Hamilton would be fastest out of the 2, and it paid off.

Some dedication with the opening rounds of the F1 season and getting up to watch. Doesn’t get much better after this with Japan but we then have Qatar and Saudi Arabia coming up which won’t require getting up at daft a clock to view.

I must have a screw loose because I love binge watching motorsport this time of year when the racing has just started up.

Last weekend was quite some effort with major races taking places all over the world plus the rugby and of course City. From 14:10 with the start of the Sebring 12 Hours it was basically 16 and a half hours of solid sport until the F1 finished at around 06:30 on the Sunday morning!

Saturday
05:00 - F1 Qualy
06:35 - Aussie V8s
14:10 - Sebring 12 Hours
14:15 - Italy vs Ireland
15:00 - City Vs Brighton
16:45 - Wales vs England
20:00 - France vs Scotland
22:00 - F3 Race
23:20 - Aussie V8s

Sunday
00:00 - Sebring 12 Hours continued
00:30 - F2 Race
04:00 - F1 Grand Prix

I've felt bolloxed all week since tbh

Mclaren has some pace in the tank i think ,but qualy and race could be a really competitive and close this time.

They have plenty to turn the wick up, I’d say up to half a second a lap. They remind me of RB who, when needed, had even more in the tank. All about the drivers and strategists making the right decisions. McLaren could’ve won the Drivers last year, but made early mistakes.

Will this season be about team competence, or individual brilliance?
