I can categorically confirm it's a muffin and not a barm. Tameside and Greater Manchester residents may call them baps, rolls and barms.

The original shop was based in Market Street Droylsden opposite Edna's send a card.

The bakery was a small family run business by Martin and his wife. Their meat pie's were to die for and the sandwiches were made fresh every morning.

The whole operation was so straightforward and would have made a cracking turn key business.

The creamy chicken tikka on a ciabatta from there was ace.

I don’t see too much significance in this, certainly based on such little information.

Not sure how many members make up the PL C-Team but executive searches happen frequently.

Could be a case of preparing to clear the decks after a 115 drubbing. But could just as easily be a standard executive search to replace a member of the team who is leaving for completely normal reasons.
