PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Lost in the chaos...
The BMF poster who claimed a CFG staffer told him to get the champers ready.
Last week BBC radio, on multiple channels, were pushing Clive Yrie Myrie 115 podcast, for no apparent reason. Sky Sports emailed their footy pundits on guidelines on what not say about the judgement. @Prestwich_Blue posted a highly unusual 'all hands' brief was given to CFG staff last week. My blood pressure issues have resurfaced. All soft indicators of an imminent announcement, ie not months, days.

So is that good or bad?

It’s not going to be a ‘neutral’ verdict though so why would the ‘winners’ want to agree a timetable that suits the other side?
The only way that might work, I suppose, is that City have won and the PL have said they want a new team in place before the announcement, fresh start and all that, or Khaldoon wants the mother of all statements issued. However, as that seems a tad fanciful, I can’t foresee any reason why, if found innocent of most if not all the charges, City wouldn’t want to shout it from the rooftops asap.
There’s no such thing as a neutral verdict, full stop. The nature of our civil justice system means that there has to be a winner and a loser, even if it’s barely on the balance of probabilities i.e. 51%. So this case is not distinguishable in that regard.

And you are conflating the animosity between the parties with that between the legal representatives which is unlikely to be the same. Plus all legal professionals in the case have a professional to assist the tribunal as much as they are able. Once the decision is made, that duty becomes more heightened because they have both substantially discharged their duty to their clients at that point and there is nothing the lawyers can do at that stage to alter the outcome.

And as I said, if they can’t agree on a date (assuming that is being offered) then it will revert to the panel.

There is nothing improper or unusual about a level of input from the parties around the written determination, once the decision has been made. It’s about good housekeeping, professional courtesy and a requirement placed on the legal representatives to assist the administration of justice (tribunals being viewed as courts for code of conduct purposes).

I’m still standing by my bed.

De Marco said the legals from both sides in our 115 case were in Blackstone chambers so probably all having a laugh together at the speculation.

No they won’t but if we were deducted 10 points next week and it was applied next season, then we finished 5th I’m pretty sure the 6th team would kick off. Anuway probably won’t come to that.
They can kick off all they like. Rules are rules and must be followed if that means the punishment is transferred to next season then there's fuck all they can do about it

Fanny and Johnny Cradock used to do a very popular TV show, where they'd do a recipe every week. You could write in to get the recipe.

One week they did doughnuts. Johnny finished the show by saying, 'Here’s the address if you want your doughnuts to look like Fanny’s.'
Brilliant recollection mate, as long as it looked like Fanny’s and not smelt like it.

Reckon this will too 10k before the verdict. One of the best threads ever.
I think Khaldoon is sitting in his control room on one screen he has the press release ready to go and on another his has this thread up just waiting and watching ready to click the send button when it reaches 9999 posts

He probably has other screens where he trolls people on x by putting up random videos and another to direct special forces to take out anyone who uses watercress in anything but egg butties

Haalands contract extension tells me that we are golden . Before he joined us, his team went through an exhaustive points tally procedure to determine the best team for him to go to and it was City. No way do they advise him to sign the contract extension that he has done, if there is the smallest chance we are in a lower league than the Prem for any time, or there is any transfer bans etc that would impact his career and their ability to make money for themselves off the back of his earning potential.

people are using none co operation as some sort of comfort blanket, i think we will win every single charge ,in fact i wouldn't want it any other way .

even if we get found guilty on the lot i l wouldn't give a fuck, nobody can take the emotion of yaya's goal, sergios goal ,gundos goal , rodris goal every title ,every cup and the sheer joy city have given me after 45 years of average to shite football.
What is this doing in the barm thread?

I can’t wait for the verdict to drop..
Am going to miss this thread, it's been both a blast and a pain in the arse.
Yeah I can see Ric or Jimhari locking the thread the second the verdict drops.

To be fair to me (which I know is a long shot as this is Bluemoon), I would never in a million years come into this thread and say anything with such certainty unless I had it from the horse's mouth so to speak. I sort of regret posting it already, but equally if someone else in my position had posted it, I'd be grateful to know.
Trust you? You killed Paul McCartney!
