Shrinkflation is also a form of grift that consumers are cottoning on to. Those fucking tiny Quality Street boxes are shite!
A few years ago the frozen peas I buy were 99p for 1.25kg.
Around the Brexit/Covid period the bag became 1kg - but I am sure they would be keen to point out its still 99p.
Today that 99p gets you 0.75kg of peas.
As I said to the lass on the till "bloody hell Beth if this carries on you will be selling me individual frozen peas before too long"
