PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I'm intelligent enough to realise that and that being said, the language and tone used when talking about City is disproportionate to that when compared to the EPL - it very much reads as all the risk is with City and dare I say it "guilty until proven innocent" undertones.. I am yet to hear any such view/tone on EPL.

Perhaps the 60/40 view of the case is somewhat influenced by his media interests.
Yes, the bulk of the monetisation is in the City worst case scenario conditional clauses, with, unfortunately too many City supporters happy to sell their club down the river in furtherance of their media prospects and bulging wallets. If City are vindicated, we're going to have to ask why there has been such a void in media coverage of the City defence, with particular scrutiny of the failure of supposed City supporters to air it. It's been virtually one-way traffic. I listened to the Blue Moon podcast the other week, and Nick Miller was the special guest. This is a guy when he was at The Guardian was responsible for the lowest kind of common denominator anti-City wummery. We might as well give up if these people are being entertained by City fans.

Agreed.

The only trusted sources on this is Khaldoon and Pep and anyone else in the inner circle of the club hierarchy.

Simple as that.

Anything else is people pretending to be connected to either drive engagement or stroke their ego, or both.

There is absolutely fuck all chance that anyone in that small group are sharing any information with anyone outside that group.

So, anyone coming on here and saying they’ve “heard” things is living in a fantasy.
Very naive and simply not true.

The thread needs to be cleaned up from last Wednesday.
Most of the replies has nothing to do with the subject ranging from watercress on bacon to Errol Browns conquests
You missed out one poster claiming to have bedded two separate Miss World's

@slbsn

But they'll have told someone who then in turn told you. It's just as bad. When the club is under such attack, the fact we've had people telling TH stuff for the best part of twenty years is a disgrace and leaks from "the horse's mouth" over something like this, it's worrying
People do know individuals can come to their own conclusions without being 'told' something by someone, right?

Slbsn has never played the itk game. Never claimed to know things going on at the club, things that others don't or he can't share but then somehow does. He simply gives his own analysis ffs, and his take based on his experience. Believe it, question it, rubbish it, whatever. But there is no need to add mysticism to it which then ends up being the topic of debate.

Name one City fan (I assume you mean me but put me to one side for this question), "happy to sell their club down the river in furtherance of their media prospects and bulging wallets."

So name a single person

For what its worth I know someone who works very closely with the first team and senior management and spoke with him yesterday. All he would say is that the club remain very confident and believe the outcome will be positive but stressed that there has been no official briefing as of yet. He did say that the club are very relaxed, didnt get the impression that anything was imminent but could be just towing the line.

Wouldn't blame him if thats the case.
