PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Liverpool fans are known to the rest of football as being like a cult because they are so notoriously blinkered about their club that they are incapable of balanced rhetoric. It seems that if a city fan, like Mooney or Stefan, try to have reasoned debate about the charges they are then looked at as lesser fans screwing the club over. No one has seen the evidence so if we are all truly honest no one should be able to be 100%certain either party will win. All we can do is wait and see what ultimately happens and hope City prove their innocence.

The thing with the charges is that people are desperate for crumbs to cling onto and are treating it as we would a transfer rumour hoping an agent might leak a bit of info to a journalist. Realistically it is a serious situation where an independent panel are trying to determine whether the premier league can prove if City did what they claim. The panel shouldn’t leak anything to anyone so all there is to go on is the respective parties confidence and that is entirely guess work.

Obviously people making things up and claiming stuff like their mate works at City and he told me to get excited doesn’t help.
We're not starting from t=0. We're starting from a CAS verdict issued in 2020 that they were not persuaded that the Etihad deal was disguised sponsorship. After 2 years, no new evidence has come to light. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist but in its absence, I'm with CAS.

Chicken and Bacon all day long.

Tasted great whilst simultaneously containing neither chicken nor bacon.

Am I misremembering or having some sort of Mandela effect thought, but weren't they part of a lawsuit for burning people's mouths?

That was certainly the first thought I had, "hotter than the sun"

There is nothing you can do about it.

The verdict will land when it lands.

It’s difficult, but there’s nothing to be gained by getting frustrated/worried/annoyed in the meantime.
True but these wannabe leakers are pulling us by the nose, it's annoying. At least now we know they have no clue about anything. They proved that nobody will know the result until it's officially revealed. Tbf we should've known that from the start, this is a court case not a player transfer.

Well it worked. Reputational damage done. So maybe not overreaching.
He’ll have to walk but I’d imagine his redundancy package will well compensate him.
This is why we have to sue PL for defamation of character. Also to make an example out of them because for far too long have others picked on us (not Chelsea or PSG, always us), we're too soft towards the people who ruin our reputation.

Sorry if this has been covered, but does anyone know why these things don't come with some kind of formal announcement date?

Surely they're working to some kind of timeline and all the misinformation about announcements just seems to add to the anxiety.
