Priced out? | Club announce that matchday tickets being reduced by up to 43% (p93)

We needed investors. You don’t get those without profits and or / increase in business values. That’s part of the reality of being a well run football club as opposed to the shambles under Swales etc. It’s OK though because Swales was a Blue.

Nope that's not it, we don't need investors if the rank and file are priced out. They haven't got the decorators in for us have they ?

Turkeys voting for Xmas here.

The fact that it isn’t for us is why I can’t get worked up about it. If people going to gigs at the COOP Live want to stay at a hotel, good for them

Bradford put tickets at £5 for adults today and they got 23,000 for their League 2 game against Colchester.

Imagine what Premier League clubs could do with cheap ticketing.

And the extra money Bradford made on drinks, food, merchandise, etc. And getting new fans to come back.

City would rather have expensive empty seats, instead of selling all seats at reasonable prices. And by reasonable prices, I don’t mean giving tickets away.

Imagine running a business and knowingly and on purpose pricing your customers(fans) out, and seemingly not being bothered about it. It’s fucking crazy.

Bradford have always had some innovative ideas regarding ticket prices...despite some of the clowns they've had in charge.

When he noticed nine new executive boxes at Valley Parade had been built facing the wrong way, the Bradford chairman, Geoffrey Richmond, joked that the views of the car park would provide more entertainment than those of the pitch.

Bradford have 15k ST holders as they have always been very cheap, and normally £25 on the day though. The play-off semi in 2017 was the busiest game of the season but lower than any league crowd officially, as many don't normally attend but it is cheaper than match day tickets to pick and choose.

Bradford season ticket prices are £299 for adults (£13 a game) and £19 for under 12s, £159 for under 17, £263 for over 64s and under 24s.

And that’s for 23 games.

That’s why Bradford have never done the domestic treble, the domestic quadruple, 4 PL Tiles in a row, the Treble, and won the 5 trophies in a calendar year. ;-)

(And if it wasn’t for a pissed up team which lost to United in the FA Cup Final, City would have been the only team to do the double, double as well.)

Those ticket prices are great. :-)

622 seats going for £30 in SS3. Usually away seats v Leicester.. If these don't sell I dread to think what the ground will look like on matchday. Wake up City. You have driven away lots of local fans.
Although he's ignored every other fan correspondence I expect if he binges netflix or amazon (Not sure which one its on currently) you might well be the first fan to get a reply ;-)

The only time the future City Directors running City will wake up is when all the general season tickets are match day tickets or Flex-Gold season tickets. By then all the current directors will have left, will have retired, or will be dead.

All of the current directors will never see the day when all general season tickets are finished. That’s one thing to be happy about.

It's a good story but it won't pay the bills!

23k paying fuck all probably won't cover the players wages.

It's a loss leader, trying to snare people who don't normally go, to go more often at regular prices.

I'm not saying I like what football has become but charging people £10 / £15 (using using as an example) to watch some of the highest paid players in the league doesn't add up!

Fuck knows how it has come to this (Bosman perhaps?) but here we are!

Matchday revenue brought in £75.6m, an increase of £3.7m from last season.
Manchester City's outlay on agent fees exceeded £60m, according to figures released by the Football Association.

15,000 season card holders won’t be at the Leicester game. These are tickets that have already been paid for. Many will be listed on the Ticiet Exchsngr.

. Credit to 1894 for organising a block of singers. The lads need support around the ground. Supporting our team shouldn’t be so dependant on whether we are in the title race or not. Each to their own.

The amount of work, effort and time 1894 have put into it has been incredible. Think the block of singers is a very good idea and should be brought in for more games.

That does seem a little odd as they have been on sale in that block for a while now.
Where are all the people at the start of the season who were complaining they couldn't get a season ticket?
