On a relevant but separate point have read today over half of American adults have the reading capability of a 12 year old [not been able to verify] and that's why the targeted disinformation works

The OECD publishes literacy by country.

The US seems below average, but not exceptional.

Regardless of what they all say (or refuse to say) there is no getting around the fact that every single one of them in that group chat, barring the journalists broke secrecy rules by discussing an imminent/ongoing secret military operation (in any normal world, Top Secret) outside of a SCIF and on an unsecured, unauthorised communication channel.

I can't stress how fucked up that situation really is.

Describing it as a Clown Show is unfair to clowns.

Put it this way, when you are doing this sort of stuff, you are in a sealed room with all PEDs removed.

This is one of the biggest, if not the biggest security breach that has happened in modern times. Usually a security breach would come from somebody low down in the chain, and an innocent mistake in many cases, but from the positions involved in this, and the manner in which it has happened, this is unprecedented.

A total mess for the likes of 5Eyes, great news for those who oppose them.

The US is no longer seen as the protector of democracy.

Snowdon was probably a bigger breach, but that was deliberate.
